Ei, how come your mandarin sounds kinda weird when you speak, but everything's perfect when you sing?

I am in need of a vacation, just a quick getaway, any location will do. Returning to KL for the weekend does not qualify as one, if you're planning to say so. Come to think of it, the last time I had one was probably the Perhentian Trip, if not mistaken, and its coming close to one year since then. The image of me laying on the white sandy beach, sipping on an icy cool drink, watching the sun set keeps playing in my mind, hence, the strong urge to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city as soon as possible.
Just heard that the PM has officially declared Thaipusam as a public holiday in KL as well as Putrajaya *super jealous after seeing all your happy status messages on messenger* Taking into account Awal Muharram then future FT day, I would have missed a total of 3 public holidays, and this is just the beginning of the year *facepalm* Now, I have nothing but total agreement with non-locals that Malaysia is probably one of the countries in the world with most public holidays. I guess this must also be the reason why I'm given more leaves by the Company when employed in SG.
Let's just face it, life will probably never go the way we want it to be. Well, looking at it from another perspective, if things really does go our way each and everytime, we would probably die of boredom rather than old age. Things might just be better the way it is now. I think I just contradicted with own self, signs of living alone for too long perhaps.
