Looking Back on the Things I've Done.

Random conversation overheard during lunch @ Lau Pa Sat:
Gangster Looking Guy > Eh, National Treasure right, I feel oh, the first one is nicer leh. The second one ah, I think they running out of idea loh, clear family name woh, what the f**k leh.

I cannot believe that I actually forgot to do this earlier on, age must be really catching up on me. Just take a look at all those strands of white hair all over my head, sigh. Anyway, its better late than never, here's a quick flashback on the memorable events in 2007 *tring tring sound + blurring view indicating a flashback sequence ala TV series* Since I'm quite lazy as well, I'll just post the link to the first post of multiple series entries as well.

+ There was the company dinner onboard a mini-cruiser, if that's what its supposed to be called, threading the shores of Indonesia for the first time ever.

+ The trip to Perhentian where I snorkled for the first time and nearly drown, also got closer to a bunch of great peeps. Super fun trip!

+ Then there was the business trip to Chennai, taking international flight for the first time ever. It was definitely an eye opener being there, experiencing a totally different culture, though being quite limited.

+ Being relocated to Singapore for a huge project, which is ongoing up until this very moment. First time ever being seperated from Jacklyn for long durations. Being to Sentosa, Everything is OverPriced Island for the first time as well.

+ Not forgetting the Sally Yeh concert (first time going to a concert) as well as the Sammi Cheng concert in Arena of Stars, both being free and us seated at superb rows summore!

+ Bought the Nintendo DS after being poisoned by you know who(s). An event of much significance to me happened as well, Jacklyn finally decided to cook and the result being edible, OMGs!

+ The surprise Proposal in Genting!!! Even though I'm pretty certain that the answer would be a positive one, can't help but to be extremely nervous. Subsequently being bombarded with never-ending tasks in preparation for the wedding.

+ Her many, many, many visits to Singapore. It's very memorable because everytime she comes, I can see a large sum of amount being credited from my bank statements.

+ Committing to the biggest purchase ever in 25 years of life, I sometimes still wonder what actually influenced me to make that huge decision.

For me, I would say that 2007 is a rather eventful year, lots of first time occurences happening as well as me taking the first step towards building my relationship with Jacklyn to a higher level, and I'm quite fortunate to be able to grow closer to the group of siao-siao friends. Other than that, through-out 2007, I've spend very less time in KL due to work and this experience has definitely taught me to cherish more of the things around me whenever possible. The only thing I feel less satisfied would definitely be my career, too much sacrifice and dedication have been put forward but nothing much have been received in return. Perhaps this is an indication to move on in 2008.
