The Chennai Experience 2.

I'm a Malaysian, blogging about a trip to India, from a CyberCafe in Chinatown, Singapore, which has big-ass LCD Samsung monitors, CPU runs on AMD processors and I'm logged into a blogger displaying Japanese language. Globalisation?

They have SOFT DIRNKS in the hotel, you can even order BEARS in CAN! Anyway, just trying to show that things are not exactly THAT cheap there. Bears... yum...

By 6.20am the following day, it was already quite sunny, totally waking me from my slumber. WTF weh, I still need more sleep! *hollers in agony* Headed for breakfast, since its complimentary, which consists of either Western style (hams, bacons, eggs, toasts) or traditional Indian (chapati, vada, sambar, idlis). Left me craving fot fried meehoon with eggs and curry chicken a lot, or wanton noodles, or nasi lemak... *drools*

Sunrise, Sunrise. This was taken at a little over 6. A view from my room in 10th floor.

This was taken when it got a little too bright for comfort.

Same as this one. Back in KL, its still dark and comfy around this time. Sigh...

Soon enough, I'm off to the office. Initially, I had the mindset that Rajan (the driver) was only driving in that manner last night because there were not much vehicles around. Forgot to mention, traffic lights there are left to blinking yellow at night, free for all. And boy, I was never more wrong, mainly because, everyone in Chennai, EVERYONE, drives like that. Zooming past, zipping left and right, out-maneuvering others, it made me wonder why Narain Karthikeyan can't perform in the F1 races. I think drivers there honk more than shifting gears, or stepping on the brake. And, most of the drivers kept their side mirrors closed. Larger vehicles even have a sign on the back, stating "Sound Horn". *Inserts many, many shocked emoticons*

The bus. Basically, its not as packed as what you see in some movies, where people are above and hanging on to the doors. Maybe cause I was in the city. Wall's Ice-Cream, hehehe.

These are AUTOS, something similar to TUK-TUKs in Thailand. The way they drive, nearly every single one can qualify as a Mat Rempit.

Nothing much happened, other than my stay being extended for another night. Most of the time was spend in the meeting room, and I have to say that the washroom in the office must have the best view in the world, facing the ocean. Tell me, how often had you enjoyed the full view of the ocean while doing your stuff? Lunch was some traditional Indian food, but the images are in my handphone cause its kinda weird to be snapping away as usual when you're dining with a Vice-President, a Senior Architect and a Project Manager... Its basically rice and with a huge variety of side dishes, basically I was just staring at it, don't know where to start. And they laughed at me loh... Adoi. Anyway, I did managed to finish most of the stuff, some were just too sour or too sweet. The taste is out of this world because you'll never get something like that locally, the flavour of the spices explodes in your mouth. Yum...

Typical street, with some people minding their own stuff.

More to come...

The Chennai Experience 1.

After much procrastination (Two whole weeks!!! Can you imagine that?), I've finally gathered enough determination to do the India trip, well, just to Chennai actually. It was a sudden decision by TheCompany, 1 week, I was still in KL, another week, in Singapore already, preparing to head to India. Getting the visa was hassle-free, dumped everything to the admin and Ta...Da... all done the following day. *SukaHati*

Destination: Chennai, India. Map courtesy of lonelyplanet.com.

I spent the longest time ever on the MRT, travelling from Jurong East station to Changi Airport, passing through 22 stations!!! My flight was delayed for close to an hour, and I think I'm practically the only non-Indian on the plane... wait, did I mention that I was taking Indian Airlines? Now it made sense, right? By the way, just so you know, that was my very first international flight, the previous one was only to KK. Hee Hee. On board, 80% of the time, I have no idea that the pilot or the stewardess were announcing, due to their heavy slang, including their safety demonstrations. And one thing I notice is that, some passengers, they practically threw every unwanted stuff, onto the floor, candy wrappers, tissues, plastics, whatever. *sweat* Well, it took only 4 hours to reach Chennai, travelling back in time, took off around 10 something, and touched down safely about 12 something...

Changi Airport, Terminal 1, Departure Hall, I think. *I hate taking flights, I hate taking flights...*

That's 5550.00 rupees, which is not really a lot. Though it did made me feel rich for a moment.

Closing in on Chennai, looking at a vast space filled with dots of light from high above is definitely a breathtaking experience, the view was just beautiful... The same could not be said after alighting from the plane. Looked for driver, chauffeured to the hotel. Yalah, got driver lah, if not, rent car drive myself around at midnight meh? The way he drives, imagine the worst driver you can chance upon in KL, multiply it with 10. I'm serious! I held on to the side handles frantically because I didn't manage to find the seatbelts. Since it was midnight, there was nothing much to see, only managed to reach my hotel around 1 (which was 3.30am local time) in the morning to catch some precious sleep.

Roam. Roam. Roam. Yes, I'm still using the same image on my phone.

Flight ticket, boarding pass and my room's access card. Stayed in Savera Hotel, supposingly a 4 stars rated.

This is how my room looked like. I'm not sure why there are 2 beds, since I'm the only one staying there.

That's all for now, need to rush off, supposed to meet KYtehMonkey at 6.

Its Friday and...

OMG! I can't believe it but I just finished off my current workload! Settled! Habis! Kau Tim! *Continues to OMG in excitement until ran out of breath* Now I'll brace myself for the coming Monday... to be drowned in other assignments... Maybe I should just keep quiet and continue to pretend busy *whistles*

The company held a small birthday celebration for the April babies as well, and its quite different this time around, I guess its the idea of the new Head. It was done after office hours, had a bigger cake, more food and drinks, presents and cards were prepared, birthday songs were sang in Tamil, Tagalog, Mandarin, English and Malay, and I nearly missed the last bus to the MRT. I got "Who Moved My Cheese", and I think the same goes for everyone else.

After the makans, lady luck must be on my side, because the BDM offered to drive me home, in his new car, with the "new car smell" still lingering inside, the seats remain wrapped. Woot! No need to walk! Woot!

*Happyfying Moments*

The Eve.

I scanned through the choices available behind the glass panel once more, just to make sure I it would be the right one. Blueberry cheese still look the most tempting, I thought to myself, after having spent the last 15 minutes being indecisive. I looked at her and beckoned that I’ve finally made up my mind, to which she returned with a smile. I left the shop with a package held firmly with both my hands, something I have never had in quite a while.

Onboard the train, all I could think of, was later; where it should be done, and how. I’ve always been a person who gets extremely worried easily, even over petty things; thus, forcing me to go ridiculously detailed on everything. And most of the time, it didn’t turn out the way I’ve planned it to be. I’ve realized it’s a total waste of time but I’m still at it.

I walked a silent journey home, surprisingly, as of norm the streets would be bustling with cars and buses, zooming back and forth. A quick peek at the watch; its half past ten, and I quicken my steps, not wanting to be immersed into the silence of the night, not wanting to miss the special hour. And I got home, to an empty house, more calm and quiet, compared to the journey home, just now.

I took a hot bath, and positioned myself on the bed, the package temporarily stored in the fridge. It’s not time yet, still too early, just a while longer. I stared out of the window, resting my face on the wooden pane. Seems like it has just started raining, and I stretched my hand out, feeling the rain drops one after another. I felt at peace.

Another look at the watch, fifteen minutes to twelve. I took the blueberry cheesecake out from the fridge, placed it carefully on the table. Placed the candles; another 5 minutes to go, so I lit them, two large ones and four smaller ones. At the stroke of midnight, I sang to myself, a birthday song, my voice echoed through the silence of the hall. I held my hands tight, closed my eyes and made a wish, one that only I will know, was once wished.

And I blew off the candles…

The above is just something I scribbled, it did not happen, I repeat, nothing as such happened. I actually wanted to do another ending, a funny one, but it kind of breaks the flow, which is actually the point of having these abrupt ending. Whatever...

Longest Name Ever.

My housemate discovered this makan place while wandering aimlessly in Chinatown few weeks back, and please take a deep breath before proceeding. Ready? It's officially known as Chinatown Complex Temporary Market and Food Centre which basically houses many, many food stalls, temporarily, I guess. The food there, is good, and also cheap, and the portion is quite huge. What more could one ask for, other than some air-conditioning, perhaps. Everytime I have a meal there, I would end up totally soaked in sweat because its really, really hot in there, with all those heat generated from cooking. Wahrao... even talking bout it makes me sweat.

This is the place to be man! Food, glorious food!

Quite a huge variety can be found, from chicken rice to porridge, to fried noodles, yong tau foo, steamed fish heads, desserts and so on. Each of the delicacies mentioned above have more than one stall selling them but no worries, you'll know to which stall to get your food from, judging by the length of queue infront of these famous stalls. Especially that Ikan Bilis Yong Tau Foo, everytime I want to eat also cannot, the queue sibeh long!!! I confirm will dieded of hunger should I plan to wait. Well, some of the other food available...

This is a place of fried mee + fried meehoon, with stir-fried vegetables, a fried egg as well as a piece of fried chicken wing.

Some mixed crab noodles, got prawn, got crab, got fish paste... its like, seafood noodle with crab loh.

Fried Kueh Teow, this is the 4 SGD portion. Tasted so-so only, prefer the one back home.

Fried carrot cake. That bodoh-punya D go and buy 4 SGD portion although I advise him not to, damn a lot can? Moreover, it tasted sweet!!! Got prawn one, farny hoh?

Finally, to sweep the heat away, nothing does it better than a bowl of ice-kachang.

And of course I didn't eat all those stuff in one go lah. Siao meh? Who can eat that much for one single meal? What's with that look? These are captured over the span of 2 days, okay? Next, I want to eat something from that femes roasted meat stall!!! *prays for no queue*

India trip coming up next, I hope.

Tokyo Banana.

A housemate returned from Japan the other day, after a 3 month stint there, bringing something that’s soft on the outside, moist on the inside and yellow in colour back with him. Have a guess what it is...

Tadah! Tokyo Banana. Read the instructions, read the ingredients...

The packaging is damn nice I tell you, one can practically present it to another person with no wrappings required. Each of the bananas inside (somehow, sounded really wrong) is wrapped individually, layered by plastic holders. Makes me think that packaging is an industry itself in Japan. Okay, back to its content, Tokyo Banana is basically a dessert, like Japanese sweets, the outer layer is made of flour, soft in texture and it kinda melts in your mouth, like M&Ms. The filling consists of a chunk of moist, thick banana. If you love eating bananas (the fruit, that is), this is heaven-like. By the way, please don't ask me why its named Tokyo Banana (definitely not because the banana's are from a plantation in Tokyo) because I have no idea as well.

Yellow packaging, yellow content, its really yerrow! Perhaps I should blog this in yellow as well.

Does it remind you of anything? Twiggies, perhaps (Hello? What were you thinking?)

Banana... Banana... Banana...

The thing about blogging what you eat, especially when its something really good, is that, you're always being left out, unless you're dining with fellow bloggers (because we will let our cameras "eat" first). And with a bunch of guys having a go at these, you can't help but overhearing jokes related to bananas. Give me more of these stuff!!! *wonder if they sell it locally*

Work it.

Too. Much. Work. Too. Little. Time.

I'm stressed to the point that I can't even blog properly, having stared blankly at the screen for the past 15 minutes, typing then deleting, again and again. Seriously overloaded with work, to the extend that I have been slaving away in the office from 8 in the morning till 8 at night, sometimes even later. Even my weekends were not spared. The workload is like, a river flowing into the open sea, a never ending process. Its weird because this only happens everytime I'm assigned to the Singapore office... Somebody, please help me!

I think I need to clone myself...

I want to BLOG! Please give me time to blog, can?...

Ho Hum. Again.

Did a little bit of revamping on the site, because the old layout was getting a little boring. There's still a little touch-up to be done here and there, but that'll have to come later.

A million thanks to Julia for helping me do the banner.

I feel like blogging all over again. Weeeeeee...

Perhentian Trip :: Part 4.

Group photo! My teeth so white and bright... I use Colgate btw.

Final day, nothing happened. We practically lazed around, till late in the evening. The girlfriend did make me run in the hot, glaring sun without my tops on to run some errands. So evil of her. Other than that, all of us spent time applying layer after layer of lotions on our poor, burnt skin. Headed off from Perhentian Island in the late evening, where the guide told us its better to sit at the back, less chances of being splashed by seawater, and so I did.

Air Supply Savage Garden Modern Talking Breeze KC & JoJo Pinky and the Brain Tom & Jerry Eugene and Jed.

Kena CON! I think I got hit the worst because by the time we alighted, I was drenched in seawater, no kidding. Had to change my shirt... The journey was kinda scary because from where we were (middle of the ocean) we can see dark clouds and strong waves in front, indicating bad weather and we were travelling in a small boat. Fortunately, we managed to reach before the rain hit us, much, much later.

Eugene. Jacklyn. Jed. AngTheRobot cannot pose cause body stiffed from sunburn.

Had dinner in a Chinese Restaurant that doesn't serve pork in Kuala Besut. No Pok! The freaking fish costs rm45, and we were in Terengganu man, though other dishes were relatively cheaper. Food was alright, he was recommending squids initially, very fresh, so he said but we got really bored of it in Perhentian, so, its a NO, NO! Headed to some playground after dinner, only to be welcomed by rain, which came rather sudden. No choice but to head to the bus stop and wait, and had to practically run under the rain to board the bus because the station belonged to another bus company, and prohibited out bus from entering. Cilakak!

MeBigMouthCrookedFingers and NormalJen.

This one is actually to show you Eri's top, which says Forever Friends but has a gruesome image. She also likes to eat arm. Beware of her.

Reached KL at about 4 plus in the morning. A trip rich in experience but really tiring. I wished I had a camera capable of taking pictures underwater, sigh... So there ends the Perhentian trip travelogue, the best being the beaches and the wonderful snorkeling experience (fishy, fishy, come to papa) and the worst being the sunburn and the bus rides...

Me and Girlfriend in the bus, heading home. Hitam itu gaya, mutu, keunggulan...

Visa, done.

I'm back in KL, but just for 2 days, to get my Visa settled at the US embassy in Jalan Tun Razak before heading back to Singapore again. On my way home yesterday evening, by Aeroline, there were only 6 passengers, including myself, in the bus. FREEDOM!!! Changed my perception that their schedules are always fully booked and their earning tons of good money. Oh, and I think I watched White Chicks for the 5486325974th time yesterday.

Beforehand, I've already scheduled my interview at 8.50am. I learnt my lesson this morning, not to ask the girlfriend for directions because to her, making a U-Turn at Ampang Park from anywhere will lead you to the Embassy and that I'm blind (she said that if one can't see a Mercedes Benz building next to the Embassy, sure blind one). Once I was there at 7.40am, I quickly quickly lined at the outer queue (towards the counter) to get my access pass because quite a number of people were already present there and I was afraid that I might miss my slot. Moreover, everyone advised me to head there earlier and guess what, I was denied entry because... too early. wtf.

It means that, there's no point arriving earlier, since you will still be given priority should your time slot comes first (they are authorized to jump queue one leh). Only by 8.25am did they allow the 8.50am batch to begin collecting access passes, then queue summore in the inner lane enter the embassy. At this time, I suddenly realized that my IC is missing. Apa lagi, panic lah!!! Only to be reminded by the gentleman behind me that it has been surrendered to get the access pass. Damn memalufyingkan, can? Granted access to the lobby area after an initial security screening (where you surrender your handphone, keys and whatsoever unrelated stuff), where another screening will occur (this one is more strict).

I was handed one instruction sheet to guide me through the rest of the process. The ticket shows that it'll be another hour and 15 minutes before my turn. I should've brought a book along. At the first counter, I was required to submit all the required documents, and wait in line for my number to be called. No orders in the numbers being called, at one time, its 70 something, another time, 50 something. Confusing. My finger print was then taken, before another long wait ensued.

Managed to strike up an interview with some strangers, one being a drummer (quite famous I presume, cause the guy next to me mentioned that he saw the drummer on TV numerous times before) who has travalled nearly around the world (jealous, can?). Oh, and I saw an Ang Moh with crystal blue eyes, so mesmerizing... its a HE btw. Close to 10am, I see the numbers before me and after me, being called to the interview windows, but not me. wtf again. At about 10.15am, my turn finally, finally arrived, was asked a series of questions. In about 3 minutes, it's done and my interviewer didn't even requested for any supporting documents, must be, because I looked very honest and handsome. Said goodbye to the few strangers I managed to chat with there and headed home...

All in all, the process only took less than 5 minutes, but the waiting time, for my case that is, was approximately 2 1/2 hours...

Perhentian Trip :: Part 3.

Day 2 of the trip, consisted mainly of... snorkeling, drink sea water, snorkeling, stepped on washed up dead corals, snorkeling, snorkeling, drink sea water, snorkeling, stepped on washed up dead corals, lunch, stepped on washed up dead corals, snorkeling, snorkeling, stepped on washed up dead corals, snorkeling, drink sea water, snorkeling, snorkeling, dinner, and sunburn.

The girlfriend.

Me looking stoopid. Can see my glimmering, roasted skin colour?

There were no cameras on duty (so sad) during snorkeling, much because everyone is participating this time, leaving none to look after our stuff. Early morning, we headed off to Pulau Redang and the most saddening thing was, there were no bikini babes in sight, huhuhu... Did saw the House used in MoMoCha, but it has been shifted to the far side from supposingly, the center. Managed to bury Ang this time, and the funny thing was, his face kinda got flooded by the tide, hahaha! Next, they dropped us off somewhere quite dirty (don't ask me why) to have lunch, rice with chicken, egg and squid (again, moreover, it was uncut, freaking huge like a drumstick) before heading off for more snorkeling at some location with a structure further out to the sea.

Me and the girlfriend, after dinner. I just realized we're pretty contrast in this picture, her's a black top with white wordings, mine a white top with black wordings. Me fat, she thin.

EmoJen, has every right to be, after the Incident... but then, the picture nice hoh?

I think I got my sunburn here, exposing myself too long to the strong rays. It was really shiok that time, but the aftermath was far worst than what I've anticipated. Headed off to Lang Tengah next, after too much of seawater drinking sessions. Beautiful beyond words... spent most of the time dipping in the seawater due to the hot sun, which was a really bad mistake. Occasionaly swarmed by weird, tiny organisms in the thousands. Oh, did I mention I got stung by small jellyfishes? Nothing bad actually, felt just like prickings... Headed back to Perhentian in the early evening. Didn't see anything amazing, mainly due to the fact that I was spending much time in shallow waters.

The moon from Perhentian. Couldn't capture the stars, too dim. But the sky was really, really full of stars. Breath-taking...

The pain kicked in after a cold shower. By then, I looked like a roasted pig, felt like a heat radiator and the song Hot in Here by Nelly just kept on playing in my mind (my tops was already off). Waited excitedly for the BBQ dinner and what I had in mind was them, preparing the food and fire pit for us on the beach, and we BBQ away through the night. But in reality, everything was prepared and done by them, we just sit and eat. OMG, so sien can? *grumble grumble*. A walk by the beach was next, after spraying our rooms with Ridsect kao kao cause there were too many freaking huge mosquitoes buzzing around in the room, and then, the torture began.

The guys doing BBQing for us. They are multi-talented, can wrap wounds, BBQ, drive boats, build sand barriers, dive and snorkel, carry and clean...

BBQ Dinner. The fish still smells a little hanyir, the squid was too dry (can make squid flosses out of it) and the chicken was tasteless. The fried meehoon was the best.

Trying to sleep that is. During night, the condition was so bad, that lying on your back proves to be a mojor task to overcome. The extend that I would seriously kill anyone who dared to touch my back (except the girlfriend lah). And the torture continues the next day... And let me present to you, Picture of The Month!!!!!

Faces has been mosaiced to protect the true identity of the subjects in the image. Though you can easily guess them right? Guys, forgot I took this picture aye?

Perhentian Trip :: Part 2.

Guess who is having more fun in this picture? Quite easy to tell right?

Forgot to load this video up the other time. Would like to apologize beforehand as the quality is quite bad, but still, must watch okeh? I risked my life (cheh wah) capturing this short clip and if you don't, I swear I will eat your arm! Loading too long? Just leave the page open and go feed your dog. Can't load at all, keep clicking on refresh until a miracle occurs. Remember, its your arm, you can make a difference.

Me and her having a dip in the cold, blue sea. Notice that Junn just emerged from the water and looks as though he's posing for some ad? And Eugene looks as though he's searching for his lost swim-wear.

The journey around the snorkeling sites were much better. Or maybe the earlier ride has numbed my back as well as my ass, so I can't feel anything. Well, one important fact you should know is not to stay in the boat too long when it stops because it will cause sea-sickness, though not as bad as the one I experienced during my company's D&D out in the open sea *vomits*. Wobble, wobble... Wobble, wobble... Our guides threw pieces of breads (initially I thought they were gonna eat it, Gardenia weh, got brand one okeh?) into the sea to attract fishes, and off we went. See fishes, see corals and drink sea water + bread, so exciting!

The sea-sick girlfriend. Initially, I told her I felt like vomitting and she laughed at me. Padan muka now! Actually, I just made that up.

Too much of snorkeling can be boring. Eugene and Hikaru decided to provide us with some entertainment while awaiting for others to return from turtle hunting.

Sleeping beauty. She really did fall asleep there cause she didn't even realize when I took away her camera. I wonder what would have happened if we left her there... hehehe. That's Eri in the background.

Much later, it docked at some unknown Island that has the whitest, finest sand I have ever felt in my life, and the sea was bluish green, dem pretty can? (compared to the place where we were bunking). It was paradise!!! I think the first thing that came to my mind was to roll on the sand from one end to another, then jump into the sea. And... and... and... the sun finally decided to come out then, what more could I ask for, other than a bowl of ice-kacang...

On your mark. Get set. *Piang* Was just trying to make my handprint there.

Camwhoring, major fail[dot]com. I should just leave it to the professionals.

The girlfriend playing sand by the sea. Reminds me of the tongue-twister, "she sells sea-shells by the seashore". Anyway, very cute kan? Like small kid...

Finally, after 3 sessions in which only the foreigner participated actively in all *remember the "Mat Salleh, don't jump" incident? HaHaHa*, it was time to call it a day. Dinner was good and filling. Slept pretty early due to lack of sleep the previous night, so, I don't really know what happened after 9 or 10 something. Only heard a lot of WahLao from next door (Junn, Hikaru, Ang and Ivan). That's all for the first day...

Dinner. The last to finish washes the dishes. Mr. Benny is Junn's alternate character, hahaha!

Update from Chennai.

Vanakkam.

Just a short update, since somehow, access to Blogger isn't restricted here in the Chennai office, yet. My business trip here got extended by another day, the scope of information to be covered is simply too large to be done in a day. Upon arrival, I only managed to grab about 4 hours of sleep before spending close to 13 hours in meetings and briefings; fortunately, the caffeine kept me going. Managed to get enough rest on the following night though.

Taking a break currently, preparing for the next discussion. I guess since the company paid for everything, they would have to utilize me fully, right? To the extend that I don't even have the time to head out and explore a little, but judging from the traffic condition (pedestrians and vehicles) that I've witnessed so far, I would honestly say that I'd prefer to stay in.

I guess that's all for now, having Pizza Hut for lunch now (localized, freaking spicy)... Will do a full entry on my experience here when I'm back in Singapore, where my other parallelly ongoing project which is on a tight schedule, is being delayed!!! Die...

Perhentian Trip :: Part 1.

I guess I should start on the Perhentian Trip before I lose the initiative to do so. The pictures in these travelogues are courtesy of KuraKuraJen, LolliEllyErikoImaiPeng, TheGirlfriend and MyOwnCamera.

22/03/07 - I can’t believe I’m stuck the worst jam in the universe now, of all times! I have a bus to catch! Fortunately for the girlfriend’s friend, we managed to slot in time for dinner before departing. Braced myself for an 8 hour bus ride to Kuala Besut, Terengganu.

Us at the town village of Kuala Besut which is still pretty much asleep at 8am in the morning. Sorry Jen, don’t have the tools to pchop you in.

The girlfriend and I by the port, which was undergoing some upgrading/facelift/whaever.

23/03/07 – Finally, solid, hard ground. We had about 2 ½ hours to waste before heading off to Perhentian Island, which was delayed for another hour later. *inserts tulan (pissed off) emoticons* Well, the journey by boat (the fast one) was exciting (scary), probably because I sat in the front area. You know those action movies where you see the speed boat skidding away on open waters? It was something similar, most of the times. Felt as though I was going to be terhumban-ed (flung out) at any given time. Upon reaching, my hands were kind of numbed (gripping too hard) and I had slight cramps on my stomach; so, yeah, I’m weak, I know…

Not so happy Jed walking towards the chalets.

Another picture of me and her, my pants very beachwear-like right? She said must get bright, bright colours.

Headed over to the beach for some wild and wet fun before the snorkeling sessions later, Sun! Sea! Sand! Sexy Girls in Bikinis everywhere!!! The theme song and intro of Baywatch kept on replaying in my head. But the truth is always cruel, only the sand and sea were awaiting us, even the sun was too shy to come out and you can totally forget the girls… Next, snorkeling! Which I find can be the most unhygienic activity around, can you imagine someone else using the exact mask that you’re wearing currently (unless you brought your own). *Erases particular memory from mind* Blurgh! Urgh! Glargh! Glargh! Bleh! *that’s the sound of me drowning btw as seawater managed to slip in by the gallons into my mask*

No comments and please don’t comment as well. (L-R) EugeneZR, Me, HikaruTheCartoonCharacterInLego

In the process of burying Ivan for sacrifice to Neptune, Guardian of the Seas.

We decided to turn him into a female, so that it would be more attractive and appeasing. Notice the extra body parts?

Somebody said this looks AhLian-ish. Really ah?

Oh, and although I can’t swim, that doesn’t stop me from floating helplessly in the water, which limited my radius of view. This is one of those times where you wish you can bring your camera underwater and snap away.

On the way out to the open sea for a dive, again. Please don’t flung me out, please don’t flung me out.

To be continued… not intending to kill your bandwidth, hence I separated it into 2 entries lah. See, I so good…
