Observed: The Flickering.

The light bulb within the washroom of the upper level's common area flickers continuously with a low level buzzing rhythm when powered on during the night, much like the effects of humming bird's continuous flapping.

*flicker, flick, flick... flicker, flick, flick*

It's quite a nuisance especially when you're trying to concentrate on your 'big business' during night time, the flickering is not only distracting but drives you crazy (in the long run) as well. Reminds me of Chipsmore's tag-line, Now You See It, Now You Don't. And I'm definitely not referring to the 'outputs'.

*flicker, flick, flick... flicker, flick, flick*

The thing is, it works just fine in the morning. Can't help but to wonder why...

I Spy.

With my little eye, one black container, not any larger than one's hand yet not any smaller than one's palm. Anyone care to take a guess what it is?

Hint: The hint is everywhere. You just have to look, carefully.

iSurrender.

I have failed myself once again, succumbing to the endless temptations 'assaulting' me from left, right, corner, up, down. It's true when the wife said, resistance is futile, it'll just be a matter of time. And just a matter of time it is.

So far, I've managed to pass 15 days (in agony) successfully and there's at least another 15 more days to go, I'm beginning to doubt that I'll be able to last that long because the wait is killing me.

And a friend who has made a booking earlier gave me a killer blow recently when he told me that he had given a call to Maxis after a month and was told that there's no available units, he can either continue waiting or get a refund.

Observed: Pre-MoonCake Festivities.

Amat Koyak-Rabak

I did ask, why do I have to pay for all the moon cakes? For my parents, for your parents, for your grandparents, for your foster parents and whoever more that comes to your mind? Her answer was most straightforward and extremely simple, because I am her husband.

Most fortunately, at time of purchase, we were entitled to 15% discount plus an ongoing buy four free one promotion else, it would have been another week of bread and butter for lunch.

Observed: Old School.

Cashier Machine in Mido Cafe, Temple Street, Hong Kong. Its not too exaggerating to say that the machine is probably older than both yourself and myself combined. This is one of the many, many photos that never made it into the original series, expect more to come, cause I'm lazy.

Observed: Sorry Sorry.

No, I'm not apologizing to anyone. Its the title of a song from Super Junior which was introduced to me by Jacklyn and now the tune's stuck in my head all the time, when I wake up, during shower, when driving to work and back, whilst working, when penning this post and even when I go to sleep. And the thing is, I have absolutely no idea what they're singing.

I am currently in search of a memory vacuum to suck the tune out of my head, in the mean time, let's see if it has similar effect on you. It's addictive, you have been warned.

Observed in Frequence.

Pregnant ladies everywhere its like an invasion! Honestly, of late, the frequency of sighting a pregnant lady randomly (or not so randomly since I was on OL scanning mode) has suddenly increased like ten-fold.

Caution: Don't try being cheeky by telling me that its some sort of sign to either inform me that one is coming my way or the sightings served as an indicator for me to "work" harder. I punch you in face.

Based on the Chinese Calendar because I am 38 like that, those would either be (the zodiac signs) baby Oxes or baby Tigers. And the Chinese usually associate the Ox Zodiac with stubbornness and hard work/labor and the Tiger Zodiac as someone who's fierce, powerful and a show off. Hhhmmm...

I think I'll just continue contributing to the rubber/latex industry for now.

Observed: Calm before the Storm.

Taking the opportunity to enjoy every bit of the early morning sun and fresh air before throwing myself into the usual horrendous KL rush hour traffic to work which transforms even the most polite and gentle of a person into a drill sergeant.

Coffee Tuesday.

High productivity equals to sipping good coffee whilst working in a relatively quiet meeting room overlooking the scenery of Old Klang Road on a sunny morning.
