Wakarimasen.

There's this guy in the office. He is temporarily seating on my current Lead's desk since the Lead is working from the client's site. No issues.

Due to certain constraints, I had to work from the office. According to the Lead, I could just shoo this guy off and make use of his desk and the spare monitor. No issues.

And yes, I lug a CPU instead of a notebook around, to the client place and the office.

This guy not in sight, so I just set-up all my stuff and proceeded to start working. Then this guy returns and seems to be taken aback by my presence, and just started fidgeting and moving around. No issues as long as he doesn't bother me.

I think this guy went to voice his disagreement with me sitting there to his PM, nothing resulted from their discussion. Perhaps I look too fierce to approach due to stress. No issues.

This guy proceeded to pull another chair and sat next to me. BIG ISSUE.

The thing that I really don't understand is, will it actually kill him to sit somewhere else just for the time being since he's using a notebook? I mean, its not a 10 feet long table that I am using and yet, of all the choices available, he made the above decision.

I am angry, that's for sure.

Moreover, he's quite large and his heavy breathing either reminds me of a serial rapist or a brutal murderer. More disgusted than scared.

Tak faham! Tak faham! Tak faham! Betul-betul tak faham!

Anyway, its the 29th of February, meaning 2008 is a leap year which occurs only once every four years. I spent the day trying to sleep and the night working, wasn't really able to rest much due to constant minor tremors caused by the nearby constructions.

Oh, something random, I feel like cathing the movie, The Leap Years.

Nightshift.

Due to certain time constraints, one particular portion of the project I am currently working in would have to be kept running for 24 hours, beginning Friday, through the weekend and perhaps until next Tuesday.

I'll be working on the night-shift, most probably all alone, beginning from ten at night till ten, the next morning. Champion.

Hence, I'll be only starting around 8 something tomorrow and I'm thinking what I should be doing in morning and afternoon, sigh.

Honestly speaking, I'm not really that comfortable with the idea of being alone in the office through the night. It'll be kind of, how should I put it, spooky right? Even thinking about it now is giving me goosebumps.

So, should you be awaken suddenly in the middle of the night, please feel free to message me on MSN anytime in between the hours mentioned above. I shall be more than glad to keep you company, and vice versa.

Btw, just let me express how ridiculously expensive it is to travel via cab during peak hours with the revised rate which have kicked in some time back. OMG! What used to be 13-14 dollars now costs an additional 5 dollars, at least; I almost fainted when I saw the total fare just now.

That's all for now, see ya'll tomorrow night.

Hou Sien Ah!

Random conversation with Jacklyn:

Me: clever girl
Jacklyn: :P honey hardly praise me clever. thus i must appreciate this moment
Me: pergilah appreciate kenyang-kenyang

Let me ask you one simple question, how is it possible that two individuals from two totally different and faraway locations enjoy sushi together in front of their workstation? Since both Jen and I are currently craving for sushi (in her case, all the time), we decided to have ...

A virtual sushi party on MSN, ZOMG! Got wasabi, ebiko and also california roll, so delicious looking right?

Moving on, this is what bored workers do while chatting in MSN, they explore their hidden talents and creativity to come up with excellent game ideas that have both education and entertainment elements. And this time around, Jen and I came up with Peribahasa Charades!!! The answers are written below the images, so, if you wanna play, scroll slowly and carefully.

Ada Udang di Sebalik Batu

Sudah Jatuh di Timpa Tangga

Failed Attempt 1. You learn from mistakes and achieve greatness from failures, this is what I believe in.

Harapkan Pagar, Pagar Makan Padi

Bumi Mana Tidak Di Timpa Hujan

Bagai Pinang di Belah Dua

That's all my dear readers. If you're reading this during your working hours, congratulations, you're probably just as bored as we are and have wasted about 2 minutes of your time looking at drawings of pre-school level. Perhaps they can even draw better.

All images above are drawn using the Handwritting function in Window Live Messenger Version 8.1.

Berpeluh Berterusan.

Met up with a few of my high school mates during the Chinese New Year break at Secret Recipe in Leisure Mall. The moment I saw them, I immediately regretted not pulling Jacklyn along (she had her own plans anyway) because all of them brought their significant other along.

How am I supposed to know when no one even bothered to inform me that its a bring-your-partner-along gathering, cilakaks lah lu orang!

Anyway, the thing was, the moment I rested my arms on the table to browse the menu, I noticed that the table was uneven, rocking forth and back. Hence, I requested for something to slip underneath the table to stop the rocking but she suggested to get the table changed with the one next to it instead. Fine by me.

After the whole thing, one of them actually said in cantonese (but for the convenience of all, I've translated it, word by word), "Wah, you see people go overseas come back so different already, not satisfied terus complain. Become like Singaporean already." *proceeded by burst of laughters*

SWEAT LAAHHHHHHHH -_-"

I mean, why not change it immediately when you know the rocking's gonna annoy you in the long run? Its common sense right? *chants mantra to achieve calmness* I know lah it was meant as a joke, so relax, there's no tension or drama that occured among us that day.

Later another friend arrived, sat down, placed his arms on the table and noticed the rocking but chosed to ignore it. Needless to say, the same dude above said, "See, like I said, you've become one of them already" *another burst of laughters*

No sweat because I already saw that coming. See, that's what friends are for.

Random picture of the day, the venue for our wedding dinner in Bukit Kiara. We went there to get the new Dinner Packages for 2008 and truth to be told, this was my first time there although we've paid the downpayment since October 2007.

Just two words to describe that place, very long. Altogether, I'm pretty satisfied with the venue, much to the delight of Jacklyn. Next in line for the venue, decorations, which also means more payments to be settle, adois.

The tension is mounting. That's part of Jacklyn on the bottom right corner of the image.

Exposed!

My roomie blogs. And I accidentally exposed this site to him as I forgot to remove the URL from his shoutmix O_O! Die lah, cannot talk bad about him (or the company) anymore! There goes all my fun in blogging, I guess there's no point in doing it anymore.

Tonight, I shall undergo the wash-hand-in-golden-basin* ritual and retire from the blogging scene forever. Goodbye everyone, it was a great 2 years and 2 months, I'm really gonna miss all of you very much *sobs*

NOT!

Just kidding okay? *muka tebal mode* I know a lot of you would be really devastated if I stopped blogging, right? RIGHT? Hence, I shall continue posting dumb, lame and boring entries till the day I gain enlightenment wtf.

On a totally different note, my right wrist has been acting up on me lately, it feels very stiff all the time and there's a clicking sensation whenever I twist it clockwise. I'm wondering if its caused by the frequent *removes previous thought* DS gaming sessions ever since coming across the new Dungeon Explorer RPG game.

Or just signs of getting old. Or Carpal Tunnel Syndrome OMG?!?!??! *proceeds to worry indefinitely*

For random picture of the day, I shall be posting what I had for lunch today. Its the Koo Kee Yong Tow Foo mee in Lau Pa Sat (told ya I have my lunch there quite often). You will be seeing a lot more of my lunches in the future, ahahas.

I chose the set meal and had no idea it comes with all these, wasn't really paying attention. There's the soup, the boiled vegetables, the dry Yong Tau Foo with some thick, weird gravy and the kolo mee with minced meat.

* note: wash-hand-in-golden-basin (Kam Phoon Sai Sau) is a phrase often used when gang leaders retire from the triad society. Can usually be seen in HK series or movies.

p/s: felt tremors about 4 something, in the client's office, 15th floor of an office building near Raffles just now and was confirmed through an announcement by the building management just now. Anyone else felt that?

I am Jakun.

I used an electric clothes dryer yesterday. Initially, I was pretty skeptical about the whole thing, would the machine really be able to dry my clothes like, totally dry without leaving any weird smell? Would my clothes get burnt, damaged or shrunk by the long duration of tumbling and artificial heating?

The weird smell thought is probably an influence from Mom.

I have to admit that given a choice at that time, I would still prefer drying my clothes under the ever realiable sun which I have done for the longest time but unfortunately, such facilities do not exist, so, it was either the dryer or display my collection of underwear around the house.

Tens of minutes of worrying later, the drying was done.

Needless to say, every single piece of clothing was warm and totally dry. Right at that moment I remove my clothes from the dryer, I wanted to express my excitement out loud but since there were others around, I had to maintain my composure. There might be a chance that my widely opened eyes already gave me away.

Deep within me, I could hardly contain my jakun-ness as the following phrases went on and on and on in my mind. Woooaaahhhh!! It's freaking dry, no smell!! OMG!!! No damages!! No dampness, no moisture!!! Amazing!!! Not even badly crumpled!! *proceeds to touch and feel and smell the clothings while returning to the room*

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is Jed's true account of using an electric clothes dryer for the very first time.

While putting on one of my t-shirts, I did feel as though it shrunk a little or perhaps that's just me. Don't tell me I expanded that much in just one day, nonsense.

Guess.Hows.

Finally managed to snap a few images of the place I am currently staying in, for your viewing pleasure. Please do not be overly shocked with the fact that buildings in such condition still exist somewhere in Singapore.

I am actually more amazed with the ability of the Company to be able to find such secluded accomodations out of the hundreds and thousands options available all over Singapore, not forgetting to mention, in locations incredibly far away from the office.

Haunted apartment of the 21st century. On the left is a condominium block equipped with swimming pool and all that and at the back, ongoing construction of a new condo block. And look where I'm staying man.

Stairways to Heaven puik. Old school or not? Still using all these mini-tiles. The notice pasted on the wall is to remind visitors to register and leave at 10pm the latest.

A view from the balcony behind the kitchen, nothing much to see also actually.

This supposingly is the kitchen, I swear I will never cook anything here. I would rather starve to my death, serious. Not even heating pre-cooked food in the microwave.

The common area. Judging by all the matresses available there, I am concluding that the company is planning to stuff even more people into one room my goodness.

And finally, a view of the room I am currently staying in. Comes equipped with TV as well as a mini-fridge and only ONE single cupboard, yes, ONE. That's my dinner on the table, care to guess what I had?

View from another angle. I am currently taking that single bed because the air cond's located too close to the other bed, couldn't really feel anything from there.

Teh washroom cum toilet cum shower, all in one. It does look pretty alright here but its actually not and sometimes, there's just one kind of weird smell coming from there.

Don't Scare Me Like That.

Jacklyn and I have been looking on options available to do our ROM (Registration of Marriage) which should have actually occured early this month if not for my extension (yet again) in Singapore due to delays in project. As of current time, we've decided to do it at Tien Hau Temple.

Heard it's slightly more expensive there but given that the temple have garden areas and nicer environments for us to take pictures, I guess its worth the additional cost.

Until one fine day when Jacklyn told me she found out that KL Tower does offer some sort of package for the registration of marriage ceremony. I have absolutely no idea how she found out. Also mentioned that she got in touch with the sales person and would be forwarding me the details when she receives them.

I had a bad feeling about it...

Yesterday, she sent me a mail with an attachment and the following content, "Something to frighten honey. Damn nice, finally they have sent me this package". On first look at the attached images, seems like the ceremony will actually be held atop KL Tower, interesting was the first word that crossed my mind.

I have to admit that I was also deeply impressed as the package covers everything from audio equipments to decorations and even certain minor setups which didn't cross my mind at all, sorry, lazy want to elaborate.

That was until I saw the price... I almost fainted, the whole thing comes to a total cost of RM5000.00. There's a possibility this is not even the nett price, additional charges might just pop out of nowhere. If you ask me, that's quite a sum considering my current financial status, I might consider if its half of the above.

Yalah, I know its nice to have since its once in a lifetime thing *serba-salah mode* Anyone up for donations? I shall reserve a seat for you, LOLS.

Here's the random picture for today, Lau Pa Sat from the inside, taken when I had lunch there yesterday. I was telling my colleague that sooner or later, this place would either be relocated or office buildings would be constructed directly above it.

This is Lau Pa Sat or rather, part of it.

Maximum Bosan.

I am currently too distracted by the loud phone conversation (on speaker mode) between N and S right in front of me that I am unable to proceed with my work. Not that I am able to understand anything, its just that the volume of their voices is almost to the extend of deafening.

Perhaps I should seek medical reimbursements for damages to my delicate hearing, who knows, the effect may only show in the long run. On the side note, sometimes I do wonder if they're bitching about me, I know I do that with E in cantonese when we're in the office, lols.

The centralized air conditioning in the client's office must have gone haywired, it used to be pretty warm but now, it just chills you to the bone. If Jed also cannot tahan, you know that its really, absolutely, freaking cold. Ask Jacklyn, she'll tell you that my tolerance towards cold is not human.

Headed back to the office in Jurong East this morning for meeting, the first thing that crossed my mind was me stepping into the wrong place because no one and nothing looks familiar. I guess it really has been quite some time since I was last there.

New furnitures, new LCD monitors, new employees, same old boss, same old management, same old shitty salary.

I'm so bored lah! BORED! BORED! BORED! Nothing that's even slightly interesting is happening in my life right now hence I have no idea what I shall be blogging about tomorrow. Someone please help me... Anyone coming down to Singapore anytime soon?

And for picture of the day, I shall post a retarded picture of myself. Or a picture of my retarded self. Or a picture of be being retarded. Whatever.

Taken by E at his cubicle in the office. Bodoh tak?

Another Filler Post.

# I need a screen protector for my phone, fast! I wonder how much it costs here.

# Went grocery shopping in the brand spanking new FairPrice in Novena Square 2 last night, something which I enjoy doing very much. I think I'm even getting addicted to it, I've spent even more on this compared to my mobile charges per month here in Singapore.

# Shocked to see another luggage bag in the room upon entering. Seems like the Company has did it once again, deciding to squeeze in another person into the already small room. Fortunately, this guy is from KL but doesn't really look Malaysian but should be malay.

# Shall grill him further tonight. Shit. I just realized that I don't even remember his name. Die lah, why I so like that one.

# I'm getting really bored with the current project, really, really bored

# Meeting up with Eelane, a friend during Uni, later. It has been more than 2 years since I last saw her. She's down here for a short stint and it made me realize that I've met most of my Uni friends here rather than back in Malaysia after graduation.

# Perhaps we should Lou Sang again tonight, lols.

# Click here to check on your electoral info, polling center and polling stream (wtf is this) if you have registered that is. I wonder if I can do postal voting, hahaha.

# In case you didn't realize, I've backtracked two posts as of current time. If you're too lazy to scroll, you can always click here and here. All the pictures are taken using the k770i.

# At this point, you have to make a decision to either close the browser and save yourself from further torture or scroll down to have a look at the latest picture of myself (taken just this morning, very fresh)

The only word allowed in the comments for this picture would be "Handsome". I might consider "Very Handsome" as well.

Back In Singapore.

Reached yesterday night after a not so comfortable journey. I'm currently staying somewhere close to Novena MRT, about 15 minutes walk which is good in a way that its nearer to the client's site but bad cause I'm so far away from E and KY and the others. Another good news would be, I foresee myself losing weight judging from the walk this morning (took a cab last night).

The place is actually an apartment building that leases out rooms, something similar to the concept of service apartments but more run-down, I guess I should at least be grateful it didn't give out any type eerie feeling.

The only worry that I have now is that the company would actually stuff in another person into that room, then that'l be bad... really, really bad... *crosses fingers and prays hard* I'll post pictures when I have the time.

Parting ways with Jacklyn yesterday was especially hard, perhaps it was due the longer duration that we managed to spend together this time around, compared to the usual weekends. I made a firm decision to myself when travelling to Singapore yesterday, that this would be the final extension that I am going to tolerate with. Anymore and they shall kiss my ass goodbye.

About the lack of updates during my holidays, its just that I kinda lost the drive to blog back then. My apologies. Everytime I tried to do so, would just end up crawling to my bed and sleep. Blogging Withdrawal Symptoms?

Okay, gotta get back to work, a lot of things to catch up on. Keep an eye here, if I feel like it, I might just backtrack a few posts.

Food. Glorious Food.

Yue Sang from Hoi Ngoi Tin (Overseas Restaurant) I think, the final one before calling it a wrap. There's only so much yue sang that one can take during Chinese New Year. In actual fact, it should only be taken during the 7th day of CNY, which is Yan Yat (everyone's birthday) if according to tradition.

BBQ Pork at Daorae during Valentine's. I wanted to have something else actually but then Jacklyn insisted on her BBQ soy sauce chicken, so I had to give in since the policy states a minimum of 2 BBQ orders. The next time I come here, I'll definitely be dragging someone along, no more BBQ meat for meeeee! I want the Ginseng Chicken Soup and the Rice Pancake and the Glass Noodles!!!

Siu Yuk (burn meat, lols) that was used for Pai Tin Kung at Jacklyn's house and since none of her parents nor siblings really fancy this BBQ Pork, I shamelessly requested and took a huge chunk home, ta dah! OMG its so tender and juicy I tell you. I was the one who did the cutting, henceforth, you can refer to me as Chue Yuk Chuen as well. I am in the midst of considering a change of profession.

Tau Fu Kang. This one, I only get to have it like once a year at Jacklyn's foster parent's place during CNY. The only other occasion that I had it was when my ex-company's Lead treated us lunch at some restaurant around Subang. The only word that can be used to describe this is DELICIOUS!!! This dish looks like shark's fin soup, smells like shark's fin soup and tastes like shark's fin soup but it is NOT shark's fin soup. Ah, I am craving for some even right now.

Happy Valentine's Day.

Couples wearing couple tees in such abundance that it was almost terrifying. We used to own a pair of those as well but grew out of the idea almost immediately. It just felt, weird.

Another common sight, girls holding a bouquet of flower. One thing I really don't understand, isn't it extremely troublesome to be lugging the flowers around, to restaurants then cinemas and such? Is it impossible to keep them somewhere beforehand first?

In the car? In the house? Some lockers? I'm quite positive you can think of something.

And isn't it more gentlemanly if the guy offers to hold on to them throughout the date? Isn't it? Hence, the one conclusion that I can possibly draw from this whole phenomena would be, someone just wanted to SHOW OFF!!! Prove me wrong.

Like that bugger who proposed through the billboard lah, so much money, go do some charity lah. Good karma come to both of you ah. And if I'm the girl, I'd rather have him spend it on the diamond ring, then I could show off forever. Ish.

But as people always say, siapa suka? Therefore, I shall choose to refrain from dissing any further.

Jacklyn and I spent the day in MidValley for lunch, shopping, movies and more shopping before getting stuck for one and a half hours in traffic congestion travelling to Puteri Puchong for dinner at her favourite Korean restaurant.

Reached there have to take number and wait for our turn summore, first time weh. Ish! My dear, next year onwards, during valentine, let's make a change to our usual routine. We stay home and you cook dinner for me instead, alright?

Here's a picture of you, Happy Valentine's Day. Sayang you always.

p/s: Not a word about the card okay? If not I don't friend you already.

New Toy.

Not being able to tolerate with the constant shutdowns and irregular power indication anymore, I was finally able to stand firm with the decision to make the purchase; it has been been lingering around the corner of my mind for the longest time ever. It is time to part ways with the one which has has served me well for the past 4 years (and also a large chunk of money).

Behold, the new companion, Sony Ericsson K770i. Thou shalt serve me with heart and soul for at least another 4 years.

Truffle Brown. My requirement was pretty simple, I want something cheap that comes equipped with 3G capabilities and a good camera; hence, leaving me contemplating between this and the K810i (both having 3.2MP camera). Anyway, with this purchase, I have finally jumped on the 3G bandwagon after such a long wait *sobs*. I shall make video calls 24/7.

My first choice was the P1 but its out of my current budget, I can't bear to fork out too much for a phone anymore. I wonder what was the driving factor that actually made me part way with close to 1.4k for my previous purchase, the K700i. Siao.

Since I've already made the decision, there's nothing more I could do than hope that I've made the right choice. All I can say now is, so far so good.

I shall never have to face the fear of being cut off in the middle of an important call anymore and never shall that someone threaten to throw my phone at me anymore. Just so you know, all the images above are taken using my mousepad as the base. Nice or not?

Filler Post.

Was browsing through the images in Jacklyn's camera when I found this superbly amazing picture of me taken in Singapore, I've never been more proud of myself for being able to pose in this manner.

Please ensure that there's nothing left in your mouth for you will be left gawking at the image the moment you see it.

Now you tell me ain't that just amazing?

A relative of her's guided us to our new home through Puncak Jalil, so many junctions and turnings that I have probably forgotten how to get there by now. I have to say that it should be a much less congested route compared to the one we normally took, through South City Plaza and the Serdang market area.

Not forgetting to mention, less one toll to pay.

Seems like the construction is on schedule as most of the pillings are already up and the foundation for some lots has been completed as well. Ah, such excitement.

What used to be empty lots of land.

Would you believe me if I tell you, I used to be skinny, like really, really skinny but that was way back in the year 2000. I have no idea what occured in between then and now that made me ballooned to almost twice my size. And since I finally got the scanner running, here's another picture of myself to proove that I was once close to being a stick figure.

To be honest, even I wasn't able to bring myself to believe that I used to look like that, took me sometime to digest it.

That's me on the right, tall, dark and skinny ala Loius Koo wtf. This is the original picture, no adjustments done. Try to guess who's that on the left.

Reunions.

No lah, not an emo post, its just because the 3rd day of CNY was spent with friends from pai-lin sessions with high school friends early in the morning until dinner with uni friends late at night. Fun filled but petrol consuming and extremely tiring day.

All the pictures for the Pai-Lin session is with Pop who is currently enjoying himself in Australia, hence, here the one and only that he posted in his blog and coincidentally, its my house.

I had to excuse myself from the high school gang in late evening to go all the way Kelana Jaya for dinner with the uni gang. Initially, someone planned to have it in the Talipon restaurant there which we had no idea why until much later when that someone said he wanted to see if there's any difference with the one in Cheras.

This is just jed being jed. Look who's bringing sexy back.

Previous tenants or Cyberia A1-11-3a. (L-R) KY, Aust. LPC, May (non-tenant), Lekki, Jacklyn (non-tenant) and the empty seat's mine.

OMG DAMN SWEAT CAN since we all live around Cheras!!! We later moved on to the nearby King Crab after much objections and much to our dismay, all the meat crabs have been pre-ordered. Anyway, we still proceeded to have our dinner there, the crabs would just have to wait another day.

Since four of us were there earlier, we took the task of choosing two dishes per person as suggested by Lekki and nobody knows why we actually agreed to it. And there's the yue sang as well, we're probably nuts yeah I know. But since I've already decided to remain fat forever, I vowed to finish everything and leave nothing in sight.

None shall be able to stop me.

Loe Sang, not bad, just a little too sweet. This is 1/2 mai.

Vegetable in superior soup, too much ginger spoiled the taste of the soup.

Sweet and Sour Pork Ribs, I think. This one is good cause there's a very distinct and fragrant taste to the ribs.

Sweet and Sour Pork Ribs, I think. This one is good cause there's a very distinct and fragrant taste to the ribs.

Steamed Patin Fish TeoChew style. Perhaps its because of the fact that its a fresh water fish cause this dish totally succcckkksssss...

Stir Fried Yellow Eel, got cili-padi inside one. The chewy texture and its spiciness makes it more suitable as an appetizer rather than main course. Nevertheless, its delicious but it seems like only KY and me enjoyed it.

I forgot what's the name of this dish, but basically, the meat from the fish is used to warpped around some ham and salad, then deep fried, hence the balls. Quite nice but expensive if you ask me.

Fried buttered calamari (lai-yau). Superb as the lai-yau coating was not too thick and has a tinge of sweetness in it, the calamari was quite fresh hence the spoginess when chewed.

Supposed to be Kam Heong LaLa but they ran out of stock so replaced it with something which I didn't quite get, basically, it was a larger version of LaLa. Delicious, the aroma of the KamHeong was just right.

Ladies and gentlemen, the moment of truth. The bill came to a whopping amount of approximately RM388, without crabs! That's about 56 per person. Even the tea costs RM17.50, cause that Jacklyn and Lekki ordered Char Wong (King Tea) siao can? Actually, its not that bad considering I was expecting the total to be somewhere around 500 ringgit.

Just so you know, two of the most expensive dishes were picked by Jacklyn, so now you tell me, high maintenance or not, lols. Well, we practically consoled ourselves, or maybe just me, by saying that we gather just like once in a year, so its all right.

And during the compulsory BlackJack session at Aust's house which lasted around 2 hours plus, double ace appeard thrice, 5 dragons 21 four times, 5 dragons 5 times, blackjack lost count cause too many times, 21 also lost count too many times. Its the first time ever we've experienced such bizzare streak of winning combinations. Talk about luck.

Vegetarian.

While Mum goes full-time vegetarian on the first day of Lunar New Year, the rest of the family do it for only half a day. So, for dinner, we normally head to this vegetarian restaurant somewhere in Pandan Cahaya that serves awesome food, by my standard that is.

I feel that its actually not that easy to find vegetarian restaurants around Cheras; stalls aplenty but only for like, breakfast and lunch sessions.

The restaurant, next to a corner-lot in the shophouses area around Pandan Cahaya.

Surprisingly, the restaurant was totally empty as previously, we would have to wait close to forever before getting a table (unless we booked via phone beforehand). I wonder...

You can opt to order either the set dinner (usually cheaper) or ala carte. New soup on the menu, herbal type. I still prefer their seaweed tofu soup more.

Fried Mee.

Braised meat with pumpkin and yam. Let me tell you one thing, its freaking realistic, even the difference in texture of fat and meat can be felt when biting. Same goes to the salad prawn dish that we ordered last time, yummy.

Sweet and Sour Fish. The dark coloured texture is actually a layer of seaweed wrapping the "fish meat".

Loh Hon Zhai.

The bill for all the above, in portions for 4 persons, only amounted up to RM36, that's about 9 ringgit per person for 3 dishes, one mee, one soup and rice. Cheap right? That breaks one of the assumption most people had, that vegetarian food cost a bomb. So people, do abstain from meat once in a while for health or whatever reasons.
