How many guys are required to finish up the following amount of food @ Lau Pa Sat? Before that, let me apologize for the not-so-satisfactory quality of images taken using my mobile. For that, I shall give y'all a hint: More than one but less than a bunch.
30 cucuks (what's the equivalent of cucuks in English? Pokes? Spears? Points?) of Lamb, Beef and Chicken satays. Not bad, not bad at all, but Kajang ones still own them, hands down.
An order of grilled sting ray, not really that big of a portion, but enough to satisfy your appetite. The thing I don't like is that they use belacan to grill the ray instead of curry powder/mixtures.
A plate of squids, stir-fried with onion and chilli sauce. Nothing special other than the fact that it came in a pretty small serving.
Fried dough critters fritters (is it what they're called? Yu Tiaos) with seafood paste in the middle, simple but delicious. There were a grand total of 9 huge pieces, and you know what, this dish alone, could be dinner for one.
Our table, notice that there are some other dishes on it as well, some porridge and also korean snacks. The pro uses a chopstick to eat porridge, amazing!
And the answer is *drumrolls* ... 2 guys, only! If you were tentative enough, I guess the final picture kind of already gave away the answer, right? That's me and E stuffing ourselves silly, as usual. And the pro, that's me, ahahaha, don't really recall why but I just took the chopstick. Oh, and I also had a bowl of ice-kacang after all these, yums.
