Ma Peow. Ma Peow.

It was a fine Sunday evening and just after dinner in a particular restaurant that TheFamily frequent, Dad was approached by the MaPeowMan (a nickname I gave to individuals selling lottery tickets). Being his usual self, he'll definitely get a few, then Mom decided to get one for herself as well and just for fun, I had the girlfriend, who joined us for dinner, to get one as well, since she never bought any before (in the end, Dad paid for all one lah). She got me wondering if she was trying to find some specific number combinations since she took the longest time ever to select one ticket *sweat*

Anyway, later on, I had her scratch all the tickets, for the mini jackpot part (similar to tikam) and she managed the following winnings, 2 x RM6 and 4 x RM3, out of just 7 tickets! Though not really that much, but that's quite close to an 86% strike, quite lucky eh? So Dad took an additional 8 tickets. At this point, I kinda wondered a bit, not really sure if its a culture or what because often, I see people exchanging the winnings with more tickets instead of requesting for cash, unless its a large amount. Out of the 8 new tickets, the girlfriend still managed to get another 2 x RM3, meaning another 2 tickets. So, the initial purchase of 7 tickets turned into a frenzy of tickets exchanges and the final amount came up to 18 tickets. The most purchase I've seen was during a family dinner, where all the relatives shared to buy close to 100 tickets, even managed to win some electronic appliances out of those tickets.

And so, don't concluce that there's nothing such as first timer's luck... tickets, anyone?
