Houston, We Have A Problem.

Krabi Trip Day 1

Lepaked at McD for too long followed by a late check-in before running into the departure hall (was adviced by the person checking in our luggages to do so) to just sit for only a moment then proceeded to board the plane. Siao.

After a long absence from taking flights, my fear of being in a plane when its taking off has returned. If you see me, I would probably looked like a stoned mannequin with an expressionless pale face and sweaty palms. And to think I once aimed to become a pilot for life. Worst of all, halfway through the journey, we had to return to LCCT due to some technical glitches on the plane, like wtf. Stranded for about 3 hours plus before going through the whole take off ordeal again around 4 plus. Finally reach Krabi in the evening, dang, wasted so much time for the flights.

Jacklyn, Jed and Mr. Coconut

Snooped around the airport before heading to Best Western Ban Ao Nang Resort which was 45 minutes away, by van. Not just any ordinary van, the exterior's pretty simple but the interior made us felt like some celebrities/VIPs/big shots making our way to some posh red carpet events. Or perhaps, I was just being jakun but the ride on that van has had to be one of the highlights of the Krabi trip.

Some yadahs and blahs later, its MAKAN time and off to Wang Sai Seafood restaurant we go. Why there ah? Because I was really hungry so I just follow and its supposed to be one of the best restaurants in Ao Nang and it didn't disappoint us at all that night, or again, maybe we were just too hungry, hence, everything was pretty and delicious.

Clockwise from top-left :: Fried Seafood Noodle small portion, Stir Fried Prawn something which was huge, fresh and yummy, Steamed Squids in Garlic and Lemon sauce, Stir Fried Mixed vegetable in Oyster Sauce

Fried Pineapple Rice is a must try in the restaurant. If can, I would've gobbled this whole dish on my own lols. With some Tom Yam if I may

Seafood Tom Yum OMG OMG OMG!!! None of us had enough of these during dinner, so yummy and appetizing made me drooling non-stop! What would a trip to Thai be without trying the original Tom Yum right?

Appetizer, some seafood salad thingy. Was too occupied with the Tom Yum to layan this dish, lols but judging from the looks should be quite alright ler

Behold, the grand entrance of blue/flower crab fried with curry powder recommended by the waitress taking our order and it was teh AWESOME! Would be more awesome if it was a little spicier.

After a hearty and relatively cheap meal, costing just about 230 baht per person, we walked around looking and touching with a little bargaining before settling for some MASSAGE! Being a first timer, I decided to start things slow and just go for 30 mins of face, shoulder and body massage. Ini... this one have to take off the tops and fortunately get to keep your pants on, cause they needed to rub tiger balm and some ointment on your body, it felt so good that I secretly wished it would never end.

The 200 baht spent was totally worth it I tell you, it was inclusive of a cup of hot, sweet tea after the massage. So, if you ever head to Sunset Massage in Ao Nang, look up for my comments in their feedback booklet, Jed left his footprints there, literally and so did others. Well, that's all for Day 1 and there's definitely more than meets the eye, I mean more to come.

End the post with a picture of Rames and Jen.
