Krabi Trip Day 2 - Evening - Krabi Town, Shopping
Ah so, wiseman says, too much paddling, gives jed, bad shoulder pain *gently strokes long white beard* A quick bath and a quick Thai pancake snacking later, we quickly flag down a van banduan to head out to Krabi Town quickly so that we can quickly do some shopping and quickly return to Ao Nang before the transportation service terminates. The van banduan looks something like a tuk-tuk, but much larger in comparison, being able to ferry around 12 persons one time. Sort of like our Proton Arena with much larger back compartment thingy, pick-up trucks ah and yeah, I'm quite clueless about cars/vehicles/whatever.
Upon reaching Krabi Town, which was some 30-45 minutes away, the first thing to do was search for FOOD cause since breakfast, have yet to feed ourselves with a proper meal plus all the paddling very energy sapping. First stop was some bazaar loaded with a variety of local delicacies and also a stall with lots of huge bees swarming over a dish OMG so scary can. And guess what, it was drizzling, again. In the end, we just ended up at some random noodle stall which I totally agree because too hungry to move on. My fuel gauge is already blinking madly on E then.

Not so candid moment
The Thai pancake that we had earlier (flavours include bananas, pineapples, peanuts and nutella chocolate), their spicy pork noodle, my normal pork noodle which comes with wantons, Pepsi old school style. Yums, I hunger for some of the noodles now.
Image of Krabi Town, we were standing there deciding whether to head back to Ao Nang or continue wandering around there.
Wait, I have yet to finish with the noodles. In a single bowl, the ingredients totally overwhelms the noodles which is in total contrast with noodles in KL, sheesh. And its totally super sedaps loh, if given, I can probably have 5 bowls of those. This single bowl of noodles eventually became my dinner, relatively cheap compared to the meal last night, just a fraction of it. Much more aimless wandering later, we felt that there's nothing much to see or look around the town or perhaps we know not of the hidden gems, so, we decided to head back to Ao Nang.
We alighted further down and was greeted with rows after rows of shops selling merchandises ranging from souvenirs to clothes to footwears to accessories and many, many more. Shopping spree program initiated, bargain skills maximixed for the others and for old man Jed, look for seats to rest program executed. Sorry but just not interested, shopping is just not my thang, bukan saya punya teh cawan.

Random stretch of road
A Thai Pancake mobile stall in Ao Nang. Its actually just like our roti canai, just much thinner and crispier but these stuff sure is addictive
Walking along the streets of Ao Nang, its much nearer to our hotel here. There's the 24 hours Burger King where I had my breakfast in the morning
Everyone inside the shop except me, the guy in white is the storekeeper, not a very good merchant cause he dunno how to strike a bargain one, refusing to reduce the price, bodohs
And there you have it, the end of the second day where the main activities involves canoeing and shopping. The lesson learnt from this day is that Rames shops even more than a typical female shopper, siao. Anyway, something a little different for this post, take a guess on the items in the following picture, its not everywhere you can find this stuff. No prize for the correct answer though, its just for fun *grins* Perhaps I should have gotten one as a gift for the first person who answered correctly.
Any guesses? Anyone?
