Reunions.

No lah, not an emo post, its just because the 3rd day of CNY was spent with friends from pai-lin sessions with high school friends early in the morning until dinner with uni friends late at night. Fun filled but petrol consuming and extremely tiring day.

All the pictures for the Pai-Lin session is with Pop who is currently enjoying himself in Australia, hence, here the one and only that he posted in his blog and coincidentally, its my house.

I had to excuse myself from the high school gang in late evening to go all the way Kelana Jaya for dinner with the uni gang. Initially, someone planned to have it in the Talipon restaurant there which we had no idea why until much later when that someone said he wanted to see if there's any difference with the one in Cheras.

This is just jed being jed. Look who's bringing sexy back.

Previous tenants or Cyberia A1-11-3a. (L-R) KY, Aust. LPC, May (non-tenant), Lekki, Jacklyn (non-tenant) and the empty seat's mine.

OMG DAMN SWEAT CAN since we all live around Cheras!!! We later moved on to the nearby King Crab after much objections and much to our dismay, all the meat crabs have been pre-ordered. Anyway, we still proceeded to have our dinner there, the crabs would just have to wait another day.

Since four of us were there earlier, we took the task of choosing two dishes per person as suggested by Lekki and nobody knows why we actually agreed to it. And there's the yue sang as well, we're probably nuts yeah I know. But since I've already decided to remain fat forever, I vowed to finish everything and leave nothing in sight.

None shall be able to stop me.

Loe Sang, not bad, just a little too sweet. This is 1/2 mai.

Vegetable in superior soup, too much ginger spoiled the taste of the soup.

Sweet and Sour Pork Ribs, I think. This one is good cause there's a very distinct and fragrant taste to the ribs.

Steamed Patin Fish TeoChew style. Perhaps its because of the fact that its a fresh water fish cause this dish totally succcckkksssss...

Stir Fried Yellow Eel, got cili-padi inside one. The chewy texture and its spiciness makes it more suitable as an appetizer rather than main course. Nevertheless, its delicious but it seems like only KY and me enjoyed it.

I forgot what's the name of this dish, but basically, the meat from the fish is used to warpped around some ham and salad, then deep fried, hence the balls. Quite nice but expensive if you ask me.

Fried buttered calamari (lai-yau). Superb as the lai-yau coating was not too thick and has a tinge of sweetness in it, the calamari was quite fresh hence the spoginess when chewed.

Supposed to be Kam Heong LaLa but they ran out of stock so replaced it with something which I didn't quite get, basically, it was a larger version of LaLa. Delicious, the aroma of the KamHeong was just right.

Ladies and gentlemen, the moment of truth. The bill came to a whopping amount of approximately RM388, without crabs! That's about 56 per person. Even the tea costs RM17.50, cause that Jacklyn and Lekki ordered Char Wong (King Tea) siao can? Actually, its not that bad considering I was expecting the total to be somewhere around 500 ringgit.

Just so you know, two of the most expensive dishes were picked by Jacklyn, so now you tell me, high maintenance or not, lols. Well, we practically consoled ourselves, or maybe just me, by saying that we gather just like once in a year, so its all right.

And during the compulsory BlackJack session at Aust's house which lasted around 2 hours plus, double ace appeard thrice, 5 dragons 21 four times, 5 dragons 5 times, blackjack lost count cause too many times, 21 also lost count too many times. Its the first time ever we've experienced such bizzare streak of winning combinations. Talk about luck.
