To the girlfriend :: My dear, yesterday night, I discovered that I really HATE BAILEYS IRISH CREAM, hate Baileys, hate Baileys, hate Baileys, hate Baileys, hate Baileys, hate Baileys, hate Baileys, hate Baileys, hate Baileys, hate Baileys.....
Seriously, I think the previous owner of the mobile number I'm currently using has a hobby of giving out his mobile contact, or maybe he thought he still owns this number because up until know, I'm still receiving random phone calls looking for him. The weirdest thing is, the number of calls seems to increase whenever I'm in Singapore, on global roaming, which equals to freaking expensive charges. I don't think that my line is being hijacked, because my bill is still pretty moderate, and the call data are accurate, meaning, indeed I was the one who made the calls.
Furthermore, sometimes, I received random SMSes as well, contents ranging around:
1. Request to be present at some hockey matches
2. Request for notification when he returns to Malaysia for some discussion on some business plan
3. Won some contest/lucky draw
4. Dinner invitation, request for reply
Normally, I ignored them and return, they ignored me as well, I think, but there was once, when this particular individual was really persistent, sending SMS after SMS. Annoyed, as I was in the mid of a discussion, I replied him, "Sudah Mati" and finally, I was at peace. Yah, I know its bad to curse others, but I was really pissed off, so, all should be forgiven *chants mantra*. Another thing is, I normally get "Assalamualaikum" from the other side for these calls which are not intended for me, and in the initial stages, I was wondering on the reply since there's some uncertainty on whether non-Muslims can reply "Mualaikumsalam" (heard that it has now been cleared that Non-Muslims too can reply to "Assalamualaikum"). So, basically, I just replied "Hi".
I posted this because only just now, I received a call looking for this particular guy, after a long absence. Anyway, to this *clears throat* WAN IBRAHIM guy, whoever you might be, PLEASE INFORM EVERYONE that you are NO LONGER using YOUR OLD MOBILE NUMBER!!! ITS HISTORY and ITS ANNOYING ME CAN?!!?!?!! Sekian, thank you.
