Not there...
Compared to norm, I woke up pretty early this morning. Strutted down, but instead of heading to the kitchen directly, my steps halted at the dining area. A whispering voice within wanted me to head towards the glass door at the living hall, and I obliged. My sight was fixed upon the empty porch and then, it struck me. She's not there anymore and it'll be quite some time before she will return to me. I felt as if a piece of me has been taken away for she had been close by my side, ever since back then. She has always been there for me, taking me places whilst protecting me from the blistering sun and pouring rain.
I miss talking to her.
I miss the Sunday mornings spent cleaning her.
I miss spending time with her in rush hours.
Imiss freaking miss my car... huhu!!

I
I can still manage...
It has been quite some time since I last relied on public transportation to get me around; fortunately enough, my office in Plaza Sentral is easily accessible through the Putra Line. Unfortunately, Friday was a nightmare as there were some technical issues with the track, causing hours of delay. Had to hitch a cab to work, which burnt a hole in my wallet. Anyway, I realize that I'd prefer taking the Putra Line over Star LRT anytime, the closest assumption that I had would be the better air conditioning, haha! To pass time in the train, I normally spend time observing (not peeping, spying, eavesdropping, stalking, staring, etc.) others, a habit developed during my industrial training days, where I traveled from Masjid Jamek to Kelana Jaya daily. Very interesting and entertaining indeed!
Like how the other day I saw a seated young lady immersed in her "Teachings of Buddhism" while a pregnant lady was standing in front of her (a gentleman later offered his seat) or the time when I saw an elderly man using a Hello Kitty bookmark on his "Angels and Demons", cute! An interesting occurance that happened on Friday night was me realizing that the cute girl standing opposite were occasionally stealing glances at me (because I was doing the same, haha!) and how we managed to exchange a smile while she was getting off *Proceeds to day-dream*...

The night...
I had a late lunch, as I know that I wouldn't have the appetite for dinner due to the scheduled technical interview by 9 plus. That's me; I get nervous and fidgety over the smallest matter, even though the necessary preparations has been made. The thought of spending the mid-autumn festival in the office saddens me tremendously; I should be home for a scrumptous dinner with my family instead, followed by some moon-cakes later. Sigh... The call to the States ended somewhere around 2215, and it was quite good, compared to the other call from SG. I guess at least, that'll be the consolation for missing the festivities. I was quite surprised that there were still quite a large number commuters at this time of the day. I finally reach home somewhere close to midnight, much thanks to the girlfriend who took the trouble to pick me up from the station.
A maggi-mee and some braised tofu-soup later, I fell asleep on the couch in the living room with the TV on. Come to think of it, I was destined to be late for my friend's wedding ceremony...
