Its all random.

Random photographs taken at random locations on random time randomly. The conclusion is, its very random.

Berjaya Times Square
I don't mind people looking at me snapping away, it made me feel special.

The oil lamp (some sort of) at the entrance of Berjaya Times Square. Looks nice for Deepavali greeting but then its already too late, haha.

The kolam at the entrance of Berjaya Times Square. Kolam is an auspicious art of decoration mainly drawn by women and girls using sandstone or limestone powder. For more information, click here.

Taken from the 6th floor while the girlfriend and her friends were happily, merrily shopping; and I decided not to follow, biasalah. Me + Shopping = Can die dot com.

It happens, everywhere.

Brickfields
In between sunlight and rain, the fickle weather ruined one of my shots, I was not quick enough and lost the ray.

Couldn't get a better angle as the light was fading and the rain was falling, got pretty soaked in the end.

The girlfriend's backyard
Some good things comes from the oddest places.

The plant is green.

Let's play with photoshop for a moment. This is the original picture of the clear blue sky (finally!) that I took, no modification done.

This is after I adjust the contrast, notice how by changing the color and brightness, we can make the clouds more distinguished.

Further adjustments. Ok, now go and have fun with photoshop.

New look.

Haro everyone!

Noticed that I've changed my template? I'm sure you do, haha! I've been bitten by the "Change your layout lah very boring liao bug". Using beta blogger's layout now. Well, there will be more changes here and there, mostly minor changes, for the time to come.

Why not finish off everything? Cause I've spent too freakin' much time in front of the PC modifying codes since wee hours in the morning. So, let me at least get something to eat first.
If, and only if, you're very observant, you would have noticed that I've also changed the theme/title of my blog. Why? Because I felt that the previous theme/title does not suit the contents that I post anymore, refer here.
Therefore, Jed no longer rants... hahaha!

kthxbai!

DimSum @ Legend Hotel.

Few Sundays back, some of the FooXioners gathered @ Legend Hotel to have Dim Sum, buffet style. I love buffets, look at my size and you'll know why. Thanks to the discount vouchers, we paid a lot less.

Splashmilk was so excited that he reached there super early, guess he has yet to adapt to Malaysian timing. Since its buffet style, 80% of the time, I had no idea what I was putting into my mouth.

Clockwise, from top Left: Unknown, Pau with Lotus paste+ Yolk of Salted Egg as fillings, Unknown (not the crabstick dish), Siu Mai

Clockwise, from top Left: Unknown, Egg Tart (I prefer Tong Kee), the fillings of the abovementioned Pau, some curry meat (if not mistaken is chicken) with bread

Clockwise, from top Left: Unknown - tasted like Siew Pau while the ball-shaped sesame seeds wrapped dish was horrible, Unknown, Unknown, Unknown (all are edible)

Clockwise, from top Left: Spread of Dim Sum, Prawn in the Har Kaw - fresh and spongy, Tofu with Fish Paste (normally they put some Fatt Choy on top one), Assorted Dim Sum - focus on the Har Kaw

If you're bored with the limited variety of Dim Sums, no worries as they still serve some other choices of food, such as Salmon Sashimi, Steamed Prawns, Sour and Spicy Crab, Stewed Mushrooms, Fried Chicken, stc. etc. Desserts includes Ice-Cream, Ice Kacang, cakes, puddings, fruits, etc. etc. I think you get the point that there are other stuff around.

Clockwise, from top Left: Eat Dim Sum must have chinese tea, Some fried roll thingy, Huge and shiny mushrooms, Hor Yip rice - I think

Clockwise, from top Left: Prawns - steamed, Salmon Sashimi - quite fresh, some jellyfish thingy I guess - I had nothing to do hence those arranged chuka idako in the background, Me love Chika Idako!

Clockwise, from top Left: Porridge, So-called Shark Fin Soup - don't try, Ice-cream!!!, My self made Ice Kacang weh - yum, yum (and yes, that's Doraemon you see)!

All whites. Clockwise, from top Left: Mikel the Splashmilk, Me, Terrence, Ivan the baby eater, Joanne the Alien (cannot see antenna), Jess the KeroKero

Feeding competition. Pair No. 1, Ryan and Mikel using their special move, dual-feeding while wearing cap.

Feeding competition. Pair No. 2, Joanne and Jess using their ultimate move, feeding while looking at camera.

Sorry to say that I was too busy eating to capture more pictures of others, as there are quite a number of us over there that day (2 tables). For a more detailed review of the Dim Sums, visit the FooXion Legend Hotel Dim Sum review thread by clicking HERE. Alrighty then, go get something to eat now, I know you're hungry.

A simple birthday dedication.

A special dedication to the girl who celebrated her birthday on Friday the 13th.

A celebration of life. Each burning candle represents a year of life lived, be it good or bad. Each candle will burn in a unique pattern, as life itself, full of different challenges, full of joy and happiness.

Friends come together. Each is unique, each is different. But trust them to be there to shine a light upon you in times of darkness to guide you through it all (Unless you cannot wake me up, hahaha!)

The girls. If a normal person is able to bring you some joy and laughter, know that a friend can bring you much, much more.

The boys. Walk not in front of me for I might not reach you; Walk not behind me as I will not see you; always remember to walk beside me.

A dedication. Words from friends might bring you tears, but it will be tears of joy, not of sorrow, coming so natural, without realization.

Love knows no boundary. Love is all around, cherish. Smashpop and Asyraf having a good time, looks as though pop is kissing in rapid succession. Stephanie, don't jealous yah!

Just once. Sometimes, a friend will appear out of a sudden and perform a miracle for you. This is Bryan layan-ing my request for him to pose in such a manner for this shot. Tell me it looks great, tell me!

Vodka + Music + Guy with button shirt = Jen having Fun! Life is short, have fun! Betapa gembiranya Jen, sempat posing for camera summore. Tapi, the same couldn't be said for the guy. Maklumlah, tiba-tiba jadi victim pulak.

Happy Belated Birthday Ah Kel. I still remember the first time I saw you, I don't even have the slightest idea who you were back then. Though not really knowing you for long, it has always been fun talking and hanging out with you (and others of course, scared later they jeslous)! So, live life to the fullest and stop hitting me so much!!! Hahaha! You go girl! Rawk on!

Post-Deepavali entry.

Come to think of it, although I enjoy taking pictures, I myself, is camera-shy.

Uncle Eddy completed his mini-series of life after wedding. Click for Part2 and
Part3.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Man, I'm getting old or at least my body is. Serious. My Saturday was filled with activities from dusk till dawn, forcing me into a recuperating state on Sunday. Tell me that this is not really happening.

Must meditate. "Ohhhmmmmm", "Ohhhmmmmm"...

Saturday morning was spent crashing Rames's crib, I had a hard time finding his place no thanks to his inaccurate map, even worse, the girlfriend was guiding me all over the wrong directions. I had to practically hold the map on the steering wheel while driving. Urgh!

Saw Asyraf, Ivan and Stephanie. Thanks to Si Asyraf who wasn't bothered to intro until Jen sampai, I initially thought she was Rames's friend/colleague. Cheh. For pictures, click HERE.

Friends of the girlfriend arrived from SG later in the afternoon and we proceeded to Times Square, where we had a meal and walked around till late evening. Such a small world it is, we managed to bump into KY's significant other.

Night, I headed out to meet up with a few of my Secondary School pals @ Pandan Indah. Not only did he provide me with the wrong location, he guided me to the wrong place. Not very good in giving directions either.

By midnight, they could see that I was beginning to doze off (I was up since 4am, don't ask me why, I don't know). Not that they bore me to death with their stories, I was just... erm, exhausted? See what I meant when I said that I was getting old? 23 years of age, dozing off by midnight? Sigh...

This is depressing, very depressing. Maybe I'm stuck in a body of a 30 year old, since physically, I do look old and my beer belly is already developing.

Somehow, I have a feeling that Ah Foo will be mocking me upon seeing this entry. Guess that's what we do best, mocking each other.

Ah Kel, I'll be doing your BDay post after this! Dun merajuk yah! I wanted to be the last one mah (or maybe I just procrastinate too much, hahaha!).

FooXion supper.

From HERE. We had satay @ Haji Samuri for supper. The satay tasted quite normal but the kuah (peanut gravy) rawks big time! Thanks to Becky for the recommendation. Come to think of it, quite some time has passed since I last had them.

What does it look like? Its the orgasm-inducing, out of this world kuah! Though it does look a bit crappy, but trust me for the taste, yummy yum yum...

Parallelism in posing. Happens when cam-whoring occuring in the same location in parallel but different coordinate has been captured on camera. Here, you can see two guys trying to brush their teeth with satay.

Watcha looking at? Multiple individuals focusing their attention on something, most probably a picture of themselves.

Show me the money. The celebrity look-alike showing off his moo-lahs. Do take note that this guy always complains about not having enough when I ask for some.

Peace signs can be done via toes as well. The human mind never fails to entertain and amuse us.

Bend it like yogajen. Something that only Jen can do, try and try as I might, coulnd't bend them like she did. Salute.

Kings of Posing. Nobody can pose better than them. If they were to declare themselves second best, no one will dare to be the first.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

First and foremost, I would like to clarify that I'm not quitting blogging lah weh. I thought I stated that clearly but still, it seemed to have created some confusion. Thousand apologies. Me no quit blogging, me loving blogging long time.

Mid-Autumn Festival (October 6, to be exact) was spent in the office preparing for a phone interview with some clients in the States (according the the Project Manager, I did just fine, but then they were looking for people with more experience. Hhhmmm.) Anyway, the following night, the peeps from FooXion organized a lil' post Mid-Autumn celebrations at Bukit Komanwel, Bukit Jalil to eat mooncake and play lantern together-gether.

The moon, partly covered with clouds. Somehow, it exudes a very mysterious feeling and reminded me of vampires and werewolves.

L-R: Pop, Becky, Sylvia, Sammie, Mikel. Btw, all of them blogs.

Sammie and Jen in action. Resistance is futile.

So, some brought lanterns, some brought drinks, me brought mooncakes and others brought cameras. Initially, there were no drinks because everybody had forgotten bout it; therefore, me, pop and rames went around hunting for it. We approached an area which pretty much looks like a stall (cause got bananas hanging) only to realize that its another gathering. Needless to say, we faster-faster walk away. Pai seh.

Traffic Light. L-R: Jen, Pop, the girlfriend.

Wahrao, look at the girlfriend pose with tanglung. Definitely affected by Rames-the-Poser.

L-R: Becky, Jen, Rames, the girlfriend, Ryan.

After gobbling some mooncakes, drinking some Coke and burning some lanterns, some of us got agitated and became violent. Must be some kind of allergy to the mooncakes, or maybe overdose of Coke. Took some time for the rest to subdue them with tranquilizers.

We spent quite some time experimenting with camera, taking stoopid pictures, posing for group pictures and cam-whoring. The humid weather was getting us all hot and sweaty and sexy, which led to the decision to move on. The gathering adjourned to some rest area beside some Highway for Satay which was supper for some and dinner for others. More of that in the next post.

Those who turned violent. No use denying.

Riot must burn stuff, there goes our lanterns.

Group picture in the middle of the walkway, sorry cannot fit everybody.

Another group picture, with me inside, finally.

If you're an observant person, you should have noticed that there's some shadowy figure appearing behind the girlfriend (3rd from Right). I did not realize until this morning (4am) when I was editing the pictures with my lights off, causing the screen seem more contrast. Quickly, I scanned through other pictures and found another spotting a more distinctive appearance!

Sacred or not? I knew I was.

Please proceed to play some mysterious and scary sound on your mind, for example, X-Files, random women screaming, etc. etc.

p/s: Bert, my friend, next time take picture dun lah stand at the back like that. Scary weh...
