Yesterday was a good night because:
- the air-cond finally got fixed, no longer suffering from severe heat wave
- The FIFA world cup is finally ON! (not that I watch football, just that celebrations keeps me in a good mood...)
- I finally get to sleep earlier after a few days of working late nights (I even missed the bus once and had to walk to the MRT station)
- I have planned out something to keep myself occupied for today
Today, however was a totally different story:
- I woke up pre-maturedly (ok, bad choice of word but am pissed, so i dun give a damn!) due to the freezing air conditioning :: after weeks of doing without one, was not adapting to it yet...
- Neck pain, due to bad sleeping position
- Of all times, it has to rain now... fark! So much for planning ahead...
- I am hungry, very hungry, very, very hungry, very x 47905327964 hungryyyyyyyyyy...
Since I did not head out, I have nothing to blog about (lame excuse).
On the other hand, I remember mentioning that I will blog bout Ah Neeon (does giving it a name makes me sound gay?) that I bought not long ago... I guess, here it is...
Few weeks back, I was still thinking hard, comparing and deciding between getting an IPod Nano (1G) or a Creative Zen Neeon (5G) which was both given 50% discount (for tourists only) in sync with some Great Sale happening here in Singapore (I've mentioned IT one time too many; therefore, does not deserve mentioning anymore). After pondering...

and pondering... (for me it costs, ok?)

and pondering... (a jed got to think when a jed got two things)
.
.
.
and ponder somemore... (annoyed yet?)
.
.
.
just a little more... (wait don't go... come back)

.
and somemore... (j..u...s..t... a li..ttl..e.... m..or...e....)

There ya go! Since my product range is between these two, let's do a quick review/pros and cons, just to enlighten your curiosity:
Pros of the Creative Zen Neeon 5G
- More storage (is a must, can double as storage space)
- Can tune in to FM radio
- Has recording function, can do voice recording, radio recording, line-in recording
- Customizeable equalizer
- Changeable LED backlights (useless but special mah!)
Cons of the Creative Zen Neeon 5G
- Hard drive based technology, therefore reads memory using a read/write head supported by an arm. This also means that if 'moved' too vigorously, ur player's screwed.
- Navigation sucks, big time.. uses MuVo's 'rocker'
- There seems to be a delay between songs, bout 3-4 seconds... however, it does not really bother me...
Hence, Neeon it is. I headed down to Marina Square's Creative store after work and made my purchase. I was hoping for a blackie, to match the front finishing but there was only orange, red and green left. Heck, orange it is... since, to me, personally, orange and black goes quite well together. Checked the product, made the payment and ta da! I finally have my own mp3 player...
For more information on the product, go Google. Heck, I even place the link to assist you lazy bumps out there...
* I just got lazy... so, no pictures... hahaha!!! *
