The Converted.

After much consideration, the wife settled for a Berry instead of an Apple. The decisive factor was none other than deals offered by DiGi at their BB roadshow at Mid Valley recently. Seriously, a Bold 2 for RM1299 by signing up with 2 years unlimited data plan (at RM58 per month) is dirt cheap I tell you! Now I'm anxiously waiting for their upcoming iPhone deals and hope it comes with rebate for trading in your 3GS *fingers and toes crossed*

Update: After messing around with the Bold 2 for 2 hours plus, it got kinda... boring? To be fair, I shall devote more time to it before jumping to any conclusions.

Sang Har Meen.

And the best thing is, its home-made, guess most would have been able to tell judging by the quantity of prawns in this serving. Fresh succulent prawns coupled with spongy instant noodles and chopped parsley in a broth that tingles with sweetness, its awesome beyond words. Prepared by Dad who seldom steps into the kitchen but once he does, one can surely expect something extravagant. He used to prepare awesome American breakfast for us on Sunday mornings during my school days, sunny side ups, sausages, ham and toasts. Ah, back in the good old days, when management of shopping complexes does not require its tenants to be open for business 7 days a week and the only worry that the word cholesterol cause me would be how the hell to spell it. Sigh, how times have passed by so cruelly...

Poon Choi.

At some Chinese Restaurant with a name so typically common that I totally fail to recall it now. All I can remember is peeking at the restaurant's signboard under the scorching heat and let out an Ohhh... It was my first time (having Poon Choi) and probably my last time as well, for a few days following this meal, the plain sight of meat gave me the shudders. More information of the dish in Wikipedia.

The beginning, when all looks good and everyone was excited. Most appetizing, can't wait to dig in.

Halfway there. Getting sick of meat and started looking for greens. The bottom layer was slightly revealed.

The end. Even with 3 individuals with the appetite of giants seated at our table, this was the best we could do. The final layer which consisted mainly of radish and braised pork knuckles (fatty food alert) was just too much (and jelak) to handle.

Me.

A picture of me, just because my blog lacks photos of myself, big time. Looking at it, I am reminded of someone saying I always appear funny/weird in photos which proves to be a fairly accurate statement. I'll tell you why - I feel uncomfortable in front of the camera. Serious. The blurred figures in the background is not due to your failing sight, it was done on purpose to protect the identity of my colleagues as well as myself (I'm still under the impression that none of them are aware of the existence of this blog and I prefer it to stay this way). Oh, this was before my glasses were crushed beyond repair.

Moon.

The initial thought upon reaching home was to grab the camera and have a go at lightnings due to its abundance. Chickened out in the end as I was much too intimidated by the blinding flashes of lightnings and deafening cracklings of thunders which seemed to grow stronger by the seconds. So immense that it feels as though the world was coming to an end, like in the movies. Settled for the moon instead.
