Nasi Bojari.


At Sakura, Jalan Imbi. First dining experience there, all thanks to the discovery of a forgotten RM50 cash voucher that's gonna due soon. A slightly different version compared to the ones in Madam Kwan and Grandmama's (supposedly a spin off), drumstick was chopped, a stronger flavored 'square' rice with curry and sambal prawns that are much, much, much, much spicier. Same price, similar servings and even the free cendol promotion is practiced here.

My verdict: Madam Kwan's version is my preferred choice not only because its less spicy, I prefer my drumstick whole (maintains the heat). But the determining factor is the rice which I find to have milder fragrance and better texture, also flavored just right, for me at least.
