Big Blog Meet (BBM).

Was on February 3rd, 2007. Don't go wahrao first because its still February, remember? To show you the true meaning of late, while I was browsing through my photo collections, I realized that I have yet to do an entry on Ivan's Bday at Pizza Uno which was, uhm, last year. Now, that's way laaattttteeee. Champion.

Some of the peeps @ BBM. Get excited if you see yourself in it please.

Nice lighting, ignore the blurry subjects.

Thanks to Doc and Jolene, there was a third BBM, the second that I've attended. For the previous meet, click there. I did a video on this one as well, but it was too freakin dark... wasted. Anyone specializing in video editing? Anyway, so many came that we practically flooded the cafe, or maybe the cafe was just small or maybe I was exaggerating. Whichever makes you happy. Well, I missed the first portion of the gathering, as I had to accompany the girlfriend for car servicing which took like, forever.

Rames the King of Posers, has antenna that detects cameras taking picture of him, works 90% of the time.

Erm, I didn't really get to know everyone else, as the photography cum camwhoring session has begun and some where already leaving. Lots of newcomers, which is a good thing but then not many from the previous sessions were there, I wonder why. Oh, the drinks there were ridiculously overpriced, rm10+ for a glass of orange juice?!?! Dropped the plan to eat there immediately. That aside, below are some candid shots that I manage to capture throughout the time I was there...

Cheryl: I am the dancing queen, young and sweet, only seventeen...
Jen, Kelz, Jacklyn: WoOoOohhh, what's that?
Rames: I am Count Draculames!
Pop: PinkFrog looks yummy... yum!yum!
Slinky: I'm looking at your, uhrm, nvm...

Rames trying to act cute but failed terribly... Tak Jadilah Rames...

I think the picture said everything. I give it a size-up just in case you didn't get it.

Cherrie: KeLLi the BuNNY, hehehe...
Cheryl: I think I look better from this angle
Jacklyn: Don't make me Karate Chop you
Rames: Dunno what I'm looking at but its nice!

Now, who says that photo editing is not fun? Anyway, we headed off at around 4 plus, and somehow ended up taking photobooth pictures (I'm not sure what they're supposed to be called, those photo-taking machines in sg.wang). And I just recalled that I'm supposed to scan the pictures and post it up for ripping, shiet. Anyway, if you happen to pass by that shop, do scan the small banner in front and you might see a small print of us, hehehe, thanks to brother Rames yang tak tau malu go and point and exclaimed "OMG, so nice!" scaring some chun chicks which was interested in me away. You should realize that the chun chicks part are fictional, right?

Group pic, without me obviously. Scream and shout if you see yourself...

A quick snack later, we dispersed, with me, jacklyn, rames and justin heading to low yat as the poser wanted to get a mousepad with wristrest (real man dun use mousepads with wristrest) and I wanted to get some games. To my dismay, pirated CDs & DVDs were completely wiped out from existence there. Sad. How to download 40GBs of game data? Siao meh? Summore now the Screamyx go and throttle our bandwidth... KnCCb!

Piseed Off. The End.

CNY + Random updates 2.

And so, on the third day, nothing really happened but during dinner, there was a power outage. No choice but resorted to candlelight dinner, don't jealous okeh? Halfway through dinner, I realized that it has been a while since we last talked and joked that much during dinner, as per norm, the TV did all the talking. Its been a while since I felt the warmth of the family during dinner. Once done, the power supply came back, as if it actually meant to give us some quality time, but, its just my mind. Funny how things are sometimes...

Fourth day onwards, more of visitings and being visited, and then Friday came. Hence, that's how my new year was celebrated. As you can see, I never really had any 'balik kampung' experiences ever since I was born. It can be a good thing, or bad, but I guess its up to how I wanted to perceive it. Maybe in the coming one, I should follow the girlfriend's family back to her hometown in Pangkor. Talking bout 'balik kampung', one thing I noticed is that this tradition seems to be dying off, I experienced congestion in the city during the new years, which never occured before. So, its kinda safe to say that, in the years to come, there'll be no difference in traffic volume during the holidays. The end.

Saturday (7th Day of Lunar Calendar, which is also 'Yan Yat', literally translates to Everyone's Birthday) deserves a post on its own, that will have to come later.

Oh, I finally managed to finish God Of War (PS2) during the holidays. I know its an old game, but I could never find the time to complete it, and I do have to say that although the game is quite repetitive, the storyline was awesome!

I lost my train of thought. So, I guess, that's all.

I'm just lazy, can?

Since I'm kinda empty at the moment, having no inspiration to blog about anything at all, here are some pictures to keep you entertained/occupied for a while:

Captured when me and the girlfriend chanced upon this performance while I was shopping for clothes in Mid Valley. Very entertaining.

This is Jen after a hard day's work under KL's punishing hot and humid weather.

Tribute to Jen's WTF picture of the month :: sudden appearance in front of the camera out of nowhere.

CNY + Random updates.

I'm back! Not that I was gone anywhere far also, just plain lazy. Anyway, my string of day-off(s) ended yesterday and I'm back working today, only to be bombarded with, "Why so siao don't take Friday off as well?", by everyone, almost. I wanted to save some annual leave for holidays mah, since this does not really count, mainly due to my status being elevated to 'driver' in the family. Even more tiring than working, can? Other than that, I kinda predicted that by Thursday, things would start to get boring, leading to the decision.

Driving to work today was a breeze, stress and hassle free. How I wish it would be like this for days to come.

In total, up till now, I've 'lou sang' for only 5 times, compared to previous year where I did it for about 10-11 times. o_O

The amount of cash collected from red packets seems to be getting more and more insignificant this time around. Not that I'm complaining, it's still easy cash. Maybe its a sign that it's time I should be giving instead. crap!

That aside, Chinese New Year was like, Chinese New Year loh, same thing every year. Same question of, 'When's your turn (to get married)?' question and 'This might be the last time you receive red packets from me', which implies the same meaning, cause married couples give them, instead of receiving. Someday, I would seriously consider using the joke I heard somewhere, asking the same 'When's your turn' question to the elderly, but, at a funeral. MUAHAHAHA! Just kidding. I am a kind, obidient, caring and loving child...

I had my reunion dinner with my family on Friday night and her family on Saturday night.

On the first day of CNY, headed over to my maternal grandma's house which is located in PJ, SS2, opposite Murni's. Yes, I'm a true, blue city kid. Each family would be required to bring a dish for lunch, a tradition in the family since... since the last time I remembered. This the time where we update with the elders, chat with the youngsters, and play with the little cousins. Oh, among the cousins, I'm an in-between, my cousins are either way older or younger than me, I'm of a lost generation.

And so, each year, I see the young ones getting physically bigger, and the elder ones getting older, while I kinda remained, like, the same. Hhhmmm... Did I mention that my cousin sister's husband is a canadian? No? Well, my cousin sister's husband is a canadian, and he's huge, and he owns a farm. Cool huh? Should pay them a visit some time.

Night, we headed for a vegetarian dinner, where a few dishes somehow multiplied into 8 dishes, which we miraculously 'cleaned' everything.

On the second day, it was another lunch session hosted by my maternal grandma, over in SS2, again. Not wanting to have your mind wandering around aimlessly, both my paternal grandparents has passed away. The girlfriend joined us this time around, upon special invitation by my grandma leh. Yah, she has met all members of my extended family, so, cannot I cannot run away already one lah. Next, headed over to my dad's elder brother's house, somewhere in Jinjang, which is like a Chinese kampung (village).

Over there, we witnessed a fight, more like a pre-fight, cause they didn't really fight but was on the verge of doing so, grabbing sticks and stones, and shouting vulgarities. It was a really frightening and horrifying experience for me, cause, cause my car was parked nearby!!! Dem scared okeh? Anything happened, have to claim my own insurance leh... Fortunately, the police arrived moments later, and I learnt that patrol cars are also known as "leilio khars" (radio cars). By then, I rushed my family to cabut already, while my car is still intact, who knows they might be returning later.

Mum cooked dinner at night, and sis invited 'someone' over. :)

Anyway, no pictures because I gave my camera a holiday too. Hehehe. More updates to come. Will be heading for a steamboat dinner with the girlfriend's colleagues at her crib later.

Valentine.

Valentine 2006. Click at your own risk.

Valentine's Day was great.

I managed to give her a little surprise, albeit some flaws along the way and she loves the presents I got her, especially the main one, I hope. She got me something that I didn't really expect, and I love it as well.

Thanks for the wonderful time and presents dear, love you.

That's all, nothing else to bore you out of your mind.

Korean Food Fair @ Plaza Damas.

Korean Food Fair @ Plaza Damas, all things Korean. Spot the girlfriend.

Had a look around the Korean Food Fair in Plaza Damas while waiting for the restaurant, that we were planning to dine in, start serving. Had to apologize for not taking note of the duration it will be ongoing for. Basically, the fair showcases packaged Korean food, in exception for a counter selling freshly handmade kimchi. Basically, you can see snacks to ramens, soft drinks to ginseng teas, yadah yadah.

Right next to the Korean Flag is the most expensive luncheon meat I have ever seen. Close to rm30 per can.

The funny thing I noticed was, majority of the snacks have faces of celebrities (I think) donned on its packaging, in weird poses and funly clothing, having a go on the snack. Their muka must portray ultimate happiness, with the snack on hand/mouth/lips/whatever. As though, it would be tastier that way. Got celebrity face, yummy x 100.

Spicy Ramen!!! All sorts of it you can find here.

Imagine a young girl going "OMG, Rain's face on the teddy chocs, sure dem nice one". *Proceeds to buy the snack* Like wtf. But it might just be happening. If any of you ever watched MTV K's School Attack (ep4?), you'll know what I mean. Just like when we see Miriam Yeung using Diamond Spa or the Pensonic Friends, or KennySia.com doing some review. Not like we would purchase those stuff immediately, but it does slide the impression meter more towards the positive side a'ight? Such is the power of marketing...

Potato chips. Yam chips. Whatever chips. Junk food galore!

In the end, I didn't get anything. I've been nothing but a busybody there. Hahaha. The end. I go celebrate Valentine's Day loh.

Coke from Korea, anyone? So pwetty. So cororful.

Shop till I drop.

I'm finally done with my shopping last Saturday, in Mid Valley.

I had to admit its a totally different experience this year, the most distinct being me spending close to 5 hours shopping for clothes. FIVE HOURS okeh? Not even the girlfriend, a self-confessed semi-professional shopper, could keep up with me, due to sore feet. I champion dey!

So, you might be wondering now, its just 6 hours, what's the fuss? Let me tell you this. Previous years (and many years before that), I practically needed less than half an hour in a single outlet, or maybe two and I'm miraculously done. It was a chore that I needed to settle quickly and swiftly.

Oh, and this time around, each of my tops/bottom/and other pieces are bought from different outlets, meaning no more stretches of clothes from same brand in the closet, which is good news to her.

By the way, if you think that the traffic congesting is bad outside, its the same thing inside. I had to queue over and over and over again just to try out the item(s). And its not a short/quick one either. Can be really frustrating at times, especially if it doesn't fit!

Had a hard time looking for a pair of bottoms, which in the end caused me to repeat the cycle of taking off and putting on a gazillion times. Found a pretty good looking one, but I could afford a pair of Nike with those. Thanks to her for bringing me into Zara.

I seriously think its the influence of endless hours forced into shopping with her, molding me to be more particular of the stuff I wear. Well, as expected, the girlfriend managed to get something for herself too. Say only accompany me, sendiri also shop what.

Happy shopping to everyone.

The girlfriend in SG, Pt 4.

Last one, I promise.

Due to the mahjong session which lasted till 4 something in the morning, all of us slept in late, me crashing at H2's house cause MRT's closed and taking a cab would cause a bomb, make that multiple bombs. The power of mahjong, makes you addicted and forget everything else...

Baked Half-Mussels, topping of your choice.

Golden Fried Mussels, I think.

Had a quick farewell meal in the afternoon @ VivoCity before sending the girlfriend off, pity her for having to spend 5 hours of Christmas Day in the coach. "The Mussel Guys" was the place to be, a random restaurant picked by H2 & J cause there were not really much customers inside cause we were kinda on a rush. Sadly, no muscles guys were seen nor provided, not that I'm interested anyway. We were joined by Dz later on.

Soup of the day. Not my day I guess. Tasted like ABC soup.

Pudding. Tasted like Mango Pudding.

While the food was above average, the service was slow, like, really slow. Ironically facing the sea, its comparable to watching the boats cruising slowly along the shores. *yawns* Moreover, the waiter(s) were not tentative enough but looked really busy, although there were only a few tables occupied. -_-" Good food, bad experience.

Chicken. With mushroom sauce.

Fish. With forgotten sauce. White sauce perhaps?

After sending the girlfriend off later, I headed home, cooked myself a little Christmas meal and slept the night away. And they lived happily ever after. No more girlfriend in SG posts. Finish. The end.

If you realize, these few posts are more about food than outings, which means that her being down to Singapore meant me, eating more than usual. Sigh...

Ho Hum.

I'm still sick.

Its as though all the common viruses around me came up with a master plan to attack me one after another, strategically killing off my anti-bodies. Once the initial phase of destroying the defence barrier is over, they'll make my body host for assimilating and multiplying, generating new genres of never before existed deadly viruses. So deadly that once you kena infected, straight away will mutate into a fat and ugly zombie. Me, being the alpha carrier, will still be good looking in order to avoid detection and continue spreading the disease to all mankind, animalkind, plantkind, alienkind, whatever. Of course, I have not the slightest idea that I'm the cause behind all these catastrophe. Soon, the earth would degrade into an uninhabitable planet, and having no other choice, mankind, who suddenly became technologically advanced, had to search for an alternative in space. Unbeknownst to them, a carrier had sneaked into the space shuttle meant for the continuity of life on another planet...

I think I'm watching too much TV. Anyway, there you have it, the next blockbuster storyline for Hollywood, Bollywood and Touchwood.

Back to me being sick. I had mild fever and sore throat last week, but drinking plenty of plain water and not cans of coke sped up the recovery. This week, its cough, which seems to have auto-magically recovered, and flu. I'm still wrapping loads of 'wan tan'(dumplings) and I'll be more than glad to send you some, just in time for the festive seasons. Anyway, hopefully, I'll get better sooner than I can say, 'Gong Xi Fa Chai', else, I'll be totally restricted from gobbling all those scrumptious, delicious food for Chinese New Year (CNY). What's the point of celebrating CNY then? (except for the red packets).

I know y'all love me right? Wish me well then.

Moving on. There's a new not so proper parking lot somewhere near my workplace (Plaza Sentral) which charges only RM3 per entry, relatively cheap compared to its competitors. Not really ideal because of its location, directly infront of the constructing Phase 3 of Plaza Sentral. Every evening, I see a new layer of dust covering my second wife, as if she had just survived a journey through some warzone. Yeap, its THAT bad. Worst, 2 days ago, I received a notice from the parking management, stating that March 2007 onwards, the fees will be increased to a staggering RM5 per entry, which is about, 66% increase. Some things are too good to be true, I guess.

Man, I should save up lots and lots of money, buy a piece of land next to some huge commercial buildings, then convert it into a parking lot. Charging a cheap per entry fee, I can just sit back, count my money and look at cars fighting for entry into my parking lot. Soon enough, I'll have enough money to build a multi-storey parking lot, implement it with state-of-the-art security system, boast about it and charge a hefty price for parking. Next, include a few shop lots for cafes and restaurants, so that those who wished to let the congestion subside before heading home can hang out. Sounds like a business plan, ain't it? So, those interested, contact me for investment opportunities okeh?

Yesterday I bumped into a sibling of a friend. She mentioned that she couldn't recognize me cause I've gained some weight since the last time she saw me. Politely, it means that I'm living and eating well. Exaggeratedly, I've grown fat beyond recognition. Shiet. No worries, I ain't gonna bitch about it, like I did last time.

Last but not least, I never realized that travelling in the monorail could be such a horrifying experience. I mean, not only is the driver speeding, the train itself tilts when negotiating the curving tracks (KL Sentral - Tun Sambathan - Maharajalela). Its like riding a relatively slow moving roller coaster, steady but still scary.

That's all for now. Joining some high school friends for steamboat later. Cheers!

Learn to manage, the fun way.

If you're ever into City Building/Planning genre of games, you've definitely heard of the Caesar series. The latest addition to the family would be the long awaited Caesar IV, now in richer, more detailed 3D environment, better gameplay, more extensive control... I think I can go on and on about the features, so, let's conclude with, it totally kick-ass. I've placed considerably high hopes on Caesar IV, since I've played Caesar III, Pharaoh, Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdoms and Zeus, and fortunately, it didn't fail me.

Basically, what happens in the game is that, you'll be given a piece of land (for each mission) and a couple thousand bucks. From there, you need to build up a running city, complete with all basic necessities such as food, water, health services, entertainment, goods, etc. etc. You'll be handling everything, from economics to religion, labour to security, yadah yadah. Conclusion, you're in control of everything, with exception for Caesar and the Gods. When you achieve the appropriate pre-determined ratings, you'll advance to the next level and repeat the whole cycle, opening new features. Sounds boring? Not at all!!!

Everything was mighty fine, that was until yesterday night, on the third Republic Campaign (Economic), Caralis, the game crashed whenever I tried opening *trade routes!!! A visit to the official forum revealed that it occurs to quite a number of players, those not affected are running the game on awesome, impossible for me to obtain specifications. Running the "possible solutions" did not help. Devastated, I headed to bed after hours of futile attempts.

This morning (about 6am), on the verge of giving up, I came across something I missed yesterday night. It's a suggested solution by a gamer, to turn off the polygraphics rendering of the trade route lines by modifying the *content configuration file, which is not the best solution but, if it works, who gives a damn! And guess what? It worked, although there's some minor graphical impact on the trade route lines in game, but its a small price to pay to be able to continue on. Good news for me, bad news for the girlfriend. By the way, if you're facing the same game crash problem, do ping me, it might be from the same issue and I'll be more than glad to provide you with the solution.

Game On!!!

I'm still in an early level of the game, so, there are no screen shots that can make you gap in awe... :P

*Note: Trade routes are important to generate income, or to import required resources. Without the income, my city would fall into debt, causing Caesar to be pissed off and send troops to demolish my city and execute me, which is bad...

*Note: One of the "better" features, depending on how you look at it, is that the game consists of multiple accessible configuration files. Which means that you can easily change the settings of each item available in the game, for example, changing the price of a building from a thousand to one. Makes you feel even more in control, ain't it? *grins*

The girlfriend in SG, Pt 3.

Before moving on to the next post, there's something that I would like to clarify. Nothing happened, in a negative sense, between me and the girlfriend. The previous post seemed to have caused a little confusion among some friends (and readers perhaps?); I truly appreciate your concern for both of us, but seriously, nothing happened. It's my scribblings, an expression of creativity (maybe not so) in the form of words. It can simply be inspired by small talks with friends or families, or some random events that you witness, or a routine practised by a stranger you never know.

If you ask me if anything happened, I would say it did after the entry was published. Funny how things turns out at times.
---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ----------

On the third day, I think H2 has ran out of place to bring the girlfriend to, since it was still raining profusely and SG is relatively, small. So, in the afternoon, we headed out for a Bak Kut Teh meal somewhere close to Bugis, cause supposingly, this was one of the more famous stalls (but not the one that refused to open shop and serve some "atas people" on a holiday).

Soup: black pepperish instead of herbalish
Meat: So, so. Not much variety
Side dishes: Plenty of choices, but nothing special.

My verdict, I still prefer our version and the worst is, no claypot!!! How can?!?!??! Anyway, pictures are still with the girlfriend, pending request.

Headed to Marina Square later, to meet up with another friend of the girlfriend's, An. First thing I noticed about him was, his similarity in looks with Dz. Much walking and a Chocolate Chip ice-cream later from Andersen’s of Denmark I think (either Ben & Jerry's was nowhere insight, or I'm plain ignorant), we headed for dinner. Ajisen Ramen, again.

The girlfriend's favourite, and the only 'konlo' version available, Teriyaki Chicken Ramen.

A week ago when she was here on a business trip, I brought her to Ajisen Ramen and ever since, she seemed to be addicted, pestering me every other time for ramen(s) there. Siao. Anyway, this time around, her persistence paid off. I have to admit that the ramens here are superb, soft but spongy, blends well with the soup. But these babies don't come cheap, about $10 bucks per bowl leh. That one not yet 'kira' additional charges, if any.

Fried calamari. A side dish.

My Chasu Ramen. YummyLicious!

No idea what's that. Consist of some sushi, some fried fish (small) and some gyozas.

Curry ramen. Looks dem spicy can die dot com.

Alrighty then, one final post and the girlfriend's trip to SG will come to an end. Just one more.

Monday, February 05, 2007

She said. He said.

"You know what, I felt that you're drifting futher from me each passing day."

"Nonsense, I'm always right here, beside you. You're feeling that way cause its no longer as strong as what it used to be."

"It's really unfair for you to say that."

"I'm just being honest with you, like I always do."

"What makes..."

"... me come to that conclusion? Sure you wanna know? I can go on and on, and on..."

"I get it. But I need to know."

"Well, you're not spending time with me, at least not as much as you used too. In the previous year or two, you never did all those little surprises anymore, which really light up my day. It's as though things have become..."

"... more like a routine than a relationship? Cause we've dwelled into each other's comfort zone for too long, too deep?"

"Exactly."

"I guess it happens to everyone."

"Maybe you're right, but I just wish it wouldn't and we're still as in love as we used to be."

"Trust me when I say we still are. It's just that, sometimes we might felt there's no need to say it out loud, since we already understand one another so well."

"Not we, its you."

"Sometimes you did it too, without realizing it."

"Okay... maybe once in a while. Sigh, I wonder what will happen in the years to come."

"No worries, everything will work out fine as long as we have each other."

"Easy for you to say. You're always the laid back kinda person."

"And you're the happy-go-lucky one."

"By the way, can you please look at me instead of that notebook of your's. You're seriously spending too much time with the machines."

"Oh, sorry. I'll shut it off once you stop replying your mails."

"Fine."

"Workaholics in action, ha-ha-ha."

The girlfriend in SG, Pt 2.

[23.12.2006] Headed over to Jurong Point in Boon Lay to meet up with the girlfriend and H2, and had brunch there. The initial plan to head to East Coast was canceled due to rain (during December, SG seemed to be raining like, all the time). So, we headed for karaoke instead. Come to think of it, I felt that I've been karaoke-ing quite a lot lately, at odd hours...

Night in the streets of SG, during christmas.

Much later, we headed for dinner, buffet style. Making our way through the swarm of humans in Orchard Road at that time was a really difficult task, mission impossible. Really people mountain people sea. After having a look at a place or two (we headed into the restaurant itself to see what they were serving, hahaha), we opted for a pre-christmas buffet dinner at GoodWoodPark.

GoodWoodPark, the entrance.

Interior, from where we were dining.

The variety of food available was not extensive but enough and complete (starters to appetizers) to keep you occupied; choices range from local to western, as well as japanese cuisines. One thing I have to admit, is that their turkey slices kicked ass, dem sedap weh!!! I stuffed myself silly.

Had soup and salad, etc. etc. as appetizer.

Some of the main meal. The one in the upper left is some potato fried with onion slices which I dem like also.

Some other stuff that I ate, this is not inclusive of the plate of sushi as well as the turkey slices that I had.

Mango Sago Pomelo dessert.

Ice Cream with chocolate sauce ant crushed peanuts.

Followed the Singaporean lifestyle and went for a drink after dinner, headed over to Clarke Quay. This time around, The Cannary was much more complete than when I was there previously. And the girlfriend was quite a jakun when she saw Clinic. After much surveying, we settled down in Highlander. Minum, minum then, balik loh, what else lah?

MoS. Have yet to enter. Shiet.

Highlander. Thou shalt not wear kilts.

Candlelight drink for one.

Let's drink.

The girlfriend in SG, Pt 1.

I watched The Holiday this afternoon and for me, its absolutely fabulous, a little exception for the ending perhaps but still, its a great movie. Scripts were good and even though I'm a guy, I have to admit that Jude Law was really charming in that movie. Simple, but relates closely to things (relationships to be exact) that's happening around us daily. Ending's kinda abrupt though, as there's no exact telling of how these four individuals ended up being. Guess it's up to how the viewer wants it to be. Anyhow, go watch.

Back in December 2006, the girlfriend came over to SG to celebrate X'mas, since the scene's pretty boring over there in KL. On Friday night, I only manage to join her much later, since I was working (To know what actually happened earlier on, kindly head over to her blog). We were joined by Dz, KYtheMonkey; H2 arrived much later as she had some matter to attend to. Since no one can decide where to eat (it always, always happens), I took charge and guess where we headed to...

No other than Carl's Jr. *Kelz, I can so hear you cursing me the moment you read this* Muahaha!

The Double Western Bacon Cheeseburger. Sedap hingga menjilat jari.

The portion is quite large, I must admit. But my mouth is even larger; as you can see for yourself, how much I could bite off in a single chomp. Kelz, sedap kan?

Fries, Fries, very normal Fries.

OK, since mentioned again and again about the size of the burger, I know its kinda hard for you guys and girls reading this to imagine how big is it actually. Hence, I borrowed this idea from Kelz and Slinky on how to measure and give a clear graphical representation of its size. What better way than to...

Compare it with someone else's face. In this instance, the girlfriend, unfortunately, became the victim of our test. KYtheMonkey decided to join the fun experiment.

This should also be filed under Lesson 3 of How to Annoy the girlfriend. KYtheMonkey still at it.

After the dinner and much torture from the girlfriend from misbehaving, we went to the Esplanade (for me, its the 2850282365329 times I've been there, but its the first during night). Finally I get to see the Merlion upclose, and as a bonus, during nightfall. Cool! Also totally unexpected, I bumped into my relatives, Uncle Weng and his family, really a small world (or small SG).

This is Merlion during night.

A view of the Esplanade from where I was standing.

Before I end this post, to show my appreciation to all who drop by on my humble little blog here, I would like to present a short clip of the Merlion, like nothing you've ever seen before. But I can't seem to be able to access YouTube, so, maybe next time a'ight? Here ya go...

Good stuff, yah?
