fuel price up yet a.g.a.i.n.

By nightfall yesterday, news stating a possible hike in fuel price were circulating around. I received numerous SMS and messages through IMs advising me to go for a full tank before 12am. By late night, the messages were getting heavier and it seems like this time, its inevitable. Since I had refuelled on Sat and usage was less than 60km, there was no point in refuelling and therefore I slept.

By now, the only confirmed news regarding the hike is from theedgedaily; stating and increase of a whopping RM0.30. Walauweh, 30 cents eh!!! Meaning that your refuelling cost will be hiked by close to 20%!!! Some statistical figures to help you understand better:

Current
Price per litre: rm1.62
Refuelling cost: rm50
Total litres: 30-31
Monthly cost: rm200

New Cost
Price per litre: rm1.92
Refuelling cost: rm59 -60
Total litres: 30-31
Monthly cost: rm236-240
Increase of a whopping 20%!!! OhMyGawd!!!

I do not wish to count further as it will be causing me major insomnia; the increase will be causing a further strain in my already empty-ing wallet. Do not forget that an increase in fuel price will affect all other industries; therefore, in a short run, we will be seeing increment in most items. The next thing I know, the economy mixed rice will not be that economical anymore.

I shall therefore be required to postpone my kahwin plans further due to this sharp increase. Sorry ah munyee, not that I wanted to, but the government has pushed me too hard, nguahahahaha!!!

At norm, statements such as "Even after the increase, the price of petrol is still relative low compared to other ASEAN countries, blah. blah. blah...". Suck my ****!!! MY ASS!!! Sounds comforting, but why not compare other stuff? Food? Cloth? Gadgets? ETC? Our standard of living is actually very high compared to OTHER ASEAN countries, proving that its just another gimmicky statement produced to cheat us feel better. Moreover, the massive congestion happening every day, every hour, every minute and every second is making our vehicle consume more than required amount of fuel!!!

So, hopefully, the government put the retracted subsidy(which is billions btw, close to a billion per month) to good use. They should perhaps use it to build more federal roads and instead of another fucking highway+intolerable costly toll for the helpless rakyat to save by not wasting fuel on congestions. In the long run, there will be major benefits because:

Reduced congestion = reduced pollution
Reduced congestion = reduced fuel consumption
Reduced congestion = reduced individuals suffering from high blood pressure
Reduced congestion = reduced accidents
Reduced congestion = reduced need for police to control traffice, can allocate more manpower to fight crime

So many darn benefits and I can think of more; however, that is unlikely to happen. The next thing we know, there might be air-conditioning in all NS camps... HAHAHAHAHA!!!

tak f.r.e.q.u.e.n.t.

I have been sitting here in front of the PC for the last few minutes, thinking of what to blog about. It is actually quite worrying; because this symptom actually indicates that I am:
1. Leading such a boring life that nothing happened out of my daily routine
2. I lost my train of thoughts, it left the station before releasing passengers

Anyhow, I convinced myself that once I start typing, it will be a long way before I make a stop. So, I feel so lost that I am going to talk about 'boh liao' things.

+13 mins: I am typing this line, currently surfing and reading other ppl's blogs; I am still undecided on what I should write.

+8 mins: Editing the some photos to be placed here later.

+22 mins: Tears starting to flow out of my eyes, so I slept.

+20 hours: yay, I am continuing on this blog that I am currently writing. And I am beginning to feel really sleepy...

So, this blog actually spans 1 day plus to be created. Wondering if my unfrequent style of blogging will affect anything; this came across my tag board...

I shall, from this day onward, blog more consistently... Henceforth, this image shall serve as a reminder to be more responsible towards myself...

yet another d.a.y.

*this is a reconstructed post*
*happened because my pc gave up on me*
*and I was demotivated to re-write*

Finally, I was able to boot my PC (hurrah! hurrah!); some-how, it was able to boot, just like that. *snapz*. Previously, I tried including an alternative graphic cards, an alternative hard disk, an alternative CD-ROM (to run format/repair the current instance of XP; which failed), and an alternative RAM, but to no avail... It even stated that my BIOS is non-ACPI compliant (wtf!!!) and suddenly, it booted today. Reduced the possibility to a crashed hard dick disk, the worst case scenario to happen to any PC owner because:

hard disk crashed = lost of game saves & porn = lost of valuable resources = buy new storage = spend money = total loss!!!

Well, hopefully I might be able to salvage some remaining, accessible data and wares to minimize looses; else, I'll just head over to smash's place and rummage his PC for hardwares... nguahahaha!!!

Movie
No Warning! No spoilers ahead!
Went to watch 49 Days(starring Stephen Fung (yay!) & Gillian Chung (yer!)). Whilst collecting tickets, were allocated to side seats. The below conversation occured:

*Provided booking number and allocated side seats*

Watashi: Can I change the seats allocated?
Ticket-Man: Sorry, can't do that because the seats are assigned by system
Watashi: Ok, then I shall revoke my booking and buy the tickets instead.
Ticket-Man: The seats are assigned by the system already.
Watashi: I mean I will buy the tickets instead.
Ticket-Man: Blah blah blah (no good seats; assigned by the system).

I gave up and took the side seats anyway, which is a wise choice as there were no alternative seats and the Ticket-Man is probably an android programmed to repeat the greatness of GSC online booking system (seats are allocated...)

The movie, finally
1. General Viewing rating (Untuk tontonan Umum)
2. Predictable story line
3. Not horrifying
4. Bad acting by Gillian Chung (Ah Kiu from Twins)
5. Poor portrayal of characters
6. Not horrifying

v-day, part 2
Part two is dedicated to food; pricey but good food. As mentioned previously, dinner was consumed in T.G.I. Friday's, KL branch in Life Centre, Jalan Sultan Ismail. Actually, I never knew there was a branch there till the fateful day when I searched their site to get the most convenient location.

Never to be expected that our choices were only limited to valentine's sets (appetizer, dessert and a main course which have a choice of chicken or beef or chicken or fish). Dang! After bombarding the waiter with questions to have an understanding of what we're about to consume; we proceeded with the ordering;

1. Black peppered rib eye
2. Jack Daniel's something chicken
3. Nachos (with more chicken!)
4. Fried Calamari
5. Dessert consists of Choc Mud Pie
6. Ice Lemon Tea for 2 instead of some love potion recommended

The serving was quite huge, making me stuffed, too stuffed for dessert. And never in my life have I tasted anything so rich in Chocolate, that I beh tahan. Luckily for me, the Ice Lemon Tea helped me through with the mud pie.

Fried Calamari

post valentine p.o.s.t.

Much of valentine was spent in the car due to the massive horde of vehicles heading nowhere. Congestion was so terrible that I reached my destination (venue of our romantic dinner for 2) in the nick of time (phew!). Good for me! v-day was a bit tad different this year due to the fact that I am now employed; so we did not spend the day together. Yah yah, I know that we always have the option to apply for leave; however, it was decided that those will be saved for another day (for vacation to be precised, hurrah!).

Well, v-day was also different cause:
1. Was not drown by tonnes of roses' scent
2. Was not drown in crowd of couples
3. Was drown in hordes of gift vendors

Typically, those were the common signs (at least in KL) which denotes Valentine's Day. You will never in the whole year again see so many couples and flowers gathered at shopping malls, restaurants, parks, cinemas, etc. etc. etc. *Victoria Station, Jalan Ampang branch was causing a pile up, tsk!* Moreover, everything seems overpriced, yet no one seems to be bothered by it. I know I did! Some gifts items practically doubled its original price. Therefore, if you're planning for a holiday in KL, forget bout 14th of February. Don't say I did not warn you...

v-day
Mine? Was all but a dinner for 2 and a lot of driving around. My date for valentine is no one other than...

munyee baby, thanks for such a wonderful valentine

Meal was taken at T.G.I. Fridays (tgif); which was absolutely great other than the fact that we did not get non-smoking seats. But considering the amount of smokers was very minimal that night, all is forgiven. Choices were limited to their valentine set meal (dang! Did not anticipate that!) and by the end of it, I was so stuffed that I swore anymore would cause my buttons to shoot of my shirt.
*da meal will be discussed later*

pressies
Well, valentine would not be complete without pressies; I got her books from her fav author (Hopefully you're happy darling). She got me a very very cute card...

Main/Front page

The content consists of 2 mini cards

This will be the lovely messages

Definitely the naughty message

Where else can you possible get another 3-in-1 v-day card... nguahahahahaha...
Other than that, she got me a pair of sandals... Nike summore leh, cheh wah!!! Always wanted one! Thanks so much munyee; muaks muaks muaks 321807574321312008432876 times...

Nike sandals rawks big time!

Taking this opportunity to wish everyone a belated Happy Valentine's Day!!!

rainy e.v.e.n.i.n.g.

Alas, some rain to take some celcius off the temperature. Feels so good that I should be sleeping. Yes I should be sleeping. *takes a look at my bed, which seems to be emitting a strong aura attracting me to sleep* I shall therefore, sleep. Good night all...

Not! Just to make you scroll a bit more *laughs* as this might be the 639205240949th blog you are reading, exercising at least your fingers will be better than none. See, I love you guys.

Yesterday, I:
1. Gatecrashed my buddy in Sg. Long, which will be the final 'pai lin' session for this year, as tomorrow will be the 15th (Chap Goh Meh) which also mean the final day of CNY celebration is here. Guess I am getting old as the topic discussed there was politics and history, and I was undeniably, eagerly interested...

2. Gatecrashed munyee's colleague house warming party. Cool place, made me wish I currently have a nest of my own too; which will be not long aftert this (yeah right...!!!). Lou Sang there also...

3. Went home for another Lou Sang session ...

4. Went to Fooxion's first official TT in SS2 Murni (which happens to be opposite my grandma's place, which I didn't no... Oh, the shame!!!) Luckily no Lou Sang session here, else I'll be traumatized. Great bunch of people there. Thanks to everyone involved in organizing as well as attending the session. No pics cos the condition was too dark and I dun like to use the artificial lighting (flash lar).
Note to myself: Bring high powered torchlight next time.

Images below are for your viewing pleasure; readers below 18 are not advised to view these sexually explicit photos (hahaha!) but I guess no one gives a damn... These images are courtesy of Shih Yuan photo (if exist) cause I got these though mail. If you are the owner of these images and wished them to be removed, pay me 100K USD. Anything else, your plea will be ignored. Just kidding... drop me a comment and it shall be removed immediately thereafter...

i am so lost for t.i.t.l.e.s.

*yawns* just woke up and proceeded to blogging (gosh, am I addicted!?!?!). I spent nearly the whole previous night ~ morning editing photos for my previous entry; cos I was without Photoshop *curses* and had to resort to more low tech way to edit, MS Paint (&#)@_@$&!^$#()$_) ... In the mean time,or I suppose at that mean time, I did spend time trying to fix my PC, but somehow, things seem to got worse as I get tonnes of Blue Screen of Death (the actual blue cannot be reflected here) and now, I can't even boot BIOS... Fcuk x 1011189155 to the power of 5519811101.

Was driving home from work last night, at around 1930++ and was stuck in a jam. I have no freaking idea what caused the jam but it was horrendous as there is not supposed to be congestion after 1930! (if yes, minor ones). Who says that?!?!? I MIGHTILY FUCKING SAID!!! It practically started directly in front of my office till destination, took a friggin 80 minutes to reach munyee's house. On my journey, I encountered 1 stalled lorry, 3 stalled cars, 1 stalled garbage truck and 2 accidents. The dual accidents happened right in front of me, luckily no life lost.

I really wonder what happened as I was stuck in a jam (remember? NO?!?! shove your head into the toilet bowl to refresh yourself). There was no rain, roads were brightly lit, vehicles are moving, at most 20km/h and funny enough, the aunty in front of me bang into the car in front of her. Drivers alighted from vehicle to check on damage and talk (aunty seems to over-react since the damage was only minimal), in the right most lane in a middle of congestion. Can't you people just move aside first?!?!?

I resorted to move to the middle lane to proceed my journey home, and then BANG! another accident in the middle lane. Sort of like this:

D second accident was more damaging as the hood of the blue car was crushed. Some reasons why the second accident happened:
1. Sampat-ing accident 1, bang!, become topic of sampat
2. Trying to jot down number plates of cars involved in accident 1
3. Calling friends/family to tell them bout the accident
4. Negotiating the congestion to stop and get down from car to sampat the accident
Somehow, after accident 2 happened, vehicles from accident 1 dispersed and I had to renegotiate back to the right most lane to move... CCB!!!

Lessons to be learned:
When you witness an accident, please move on and do not slow down to look. Imagine yourself as a victim, would you like it if others slow down and look at you as though you're a monkey prancing in a cage in the zoo? Unless you are planning to provide assistance, please FUCKING drive on...

I am so pissed now that I shall post a picture of my damn lansi look, same picture that could not load in the previous post...

CNY g.a.n.g.

No, I am not starting a triad!!!

CNY gang equals to a bunch of my secondary school gang. We make it a habit to gather during CNY every year and terrorize each and every individual's house to collect ang pauS [definitely with the capital S]. Its also a good time to catch up with 'long time no see' friends; and once again, none of us are married/getting married yet. It is also a great time to earn some extra cash through gambli... gathering of ang paus. Yes, everyone should not be ashamed to collect ang paus; collect more as sooner or later, you'll be the one giving them next...

Well, this year, we started late and ended the terrorizing the following day (waliao, I also dunno how we all can tahan).

House 1: Uncle Lim
This is the first time I visited Uncle Lim who shifted far away from me last year.

House 2: Uncle Alex
House of the Banking Siblings... first time enter after renovation, cool!

House 3: Uncle Chan
There's so x 9836328405 many people here that gambling will either make you a millionaire or broke in split second!

Therefore, we were forced by the host to drink funny concossions; which everyone said tastes good! freakish ppl...

Ultimate victim... "Yyyyyyaaaaaaaammmmmmmmmmmmmmmm................ Seng!!!"

Break for food!!! Due to miscommunication, half of us were in McDs, while another half was in KFC...

House 4: Handsome, Hunky, FuckingLicious, Strong, Sexy, Macho Me
I'm busy hosting that I ain't got no time to take piccies, muahahaha!!! My house brought me good luck, I won, I won!!! Good Luck x 3817601331689317
Give it to me baby, aha aha!

House 5: Uncle Kua
Uncle Kua's house is just on the row behind mine; if we were to use the back door, it will take less than 10 seconds to reach each other's house (minus dorr unlocking and stuff).

A Walk to Remember...

House 6: Uncle Hubert
Uncle Hubert's house is so freakingly comfortable that no one wants to leave. Uncle has to resort to using ang paus to lure us out of his home...

House 7: Auntie Chik
First female house terrorized! go! go! go! Fire in the hole! Finished some fish snack in da house; sorry yah!

House 8: SmashPop
Fellow blogger's house. Never fail to provide us with yummyLicious ice cream...

Break time again: Finally had our dinner at close to 10 pm.
After dinner, only about 50% of the gang was left...

House 9: Auntie Choy
Aunty Choy's dog keep barking at me... Since its year of the dog, I shall be forgiving...

House 10: Auntie Adrianne
Reach Aunty Adrianne's house at about 11.30pm, ta da!!! The survival of the fittest consists of: Me (definitely), Auntie Adrianne (her house mah), Auntie Choy, Auntie Chik, Uncle Hubert, Uncle Cheong (too late liao to visit his house), Uncle Kua, Auntie Michelle (i think still got)...
And all of us departed by 1 something in the morning (should have gone for karaoke and dim sum session)...

No pictures were taken after dinner as I was too lazy, hahaha.

- C - N - Y -

A big thanks to SmashPop for making me the tag for my piccies. This proves that he's great to all guys and gals. So, bachelorettes out there, make a move before its too late. Group Hugs Smash!!!

I am so happy that I shall therefore reveal my face for your viewing pleasure. Be warned that you will immediately fall in love with me when you see the following picture, so take the upmost caution. Turn away before its too late...

not so great s.t.a.r.t. to a brand new year

I am a positive person (yeah right!!! Wait a minute, why am I contradicting with myself??? whatever...). The main reason for this entry title is because:
1. my phone cable gave up on me, meaning no internet!!!
2. when the cable was fixed, my PC gave up on me (suspected hard disk problem) - *sobs* my game saves... my porns prized possesions...
woe is me...
PC down = no Photoshop = no photo editing = ugly pics = no tag summore! After much consideration, I decided not to give a farking fcuk about it. So, for anyone out there missing my entries (hopefully there is), thousand apologies. For those who did not miss me, start doing so... hahaha!

CNY Part 2...

Tiring
For me, the CNY week break left me more exhausted than heading to work every farking morning. Travelling is tiring, more so if you're driving, even more so if you're driving the whole day; ended up reaching home wee hours in the morning, having to head out early the next day. Oh! So! Tortorous!!! However, every moment of it is filled with joy! Maybe this is what the gurus mean by Pleasure through pain. Woo000o0ttTTTt!!! I've achieved Nirvana!

Lou Sang
Traditionally, ppl Lou Sang on the 7th Day of CNY, which is equivalent to 'Yan Yat' :: meaning everybody's bday. But in the modern world today, we Lou before CNY, Lou during CNY and even Lou after CNY. On average, an individual might have Lou-ed Sang at least 5 times during CNY (which lasts for 15 days).

It is also believed that the higher you 'Lou' :: toss, the better your future will be for you. Other than that, one has to ensure that none of the ingredients should fall out of the plate; to prevent loss of fortune. If so, what you are about to witness is truly disastrous. Behold:

Most Disastrous Lou Sang of the year :: even by looking at it will bring you misfortune

Sometimes, things can be so different that:

Even the keropok is different, gimme back the original keropok... *sob*sob* cos this one tak sedap!

Good news for skinny ppl (like eddy)
What's the good news??? CNY is a time for celebration, and for many, celebration = good food = higher consumption = gain weight. Coupled with indiscipline, lack of exercise and laziness (holidays mah), one is assured of gaining a few tonnes pounds. How can you resists the temptation of:

CNY Goodies... munch, munch, munch...

Duck, Chicken, Pork ... give it to me baby, ahah, ahah!

I shall sleep now!

Next episode: Gatherings, gatherings and more gatherings!!!
