A weekend of fails.
Fail #1
My morning gym session, after a week of inactivity, ended with just a short 2 km run because I started seeing 'stars', really big, bright, white ones. The last time I experienced this was during the Tongariro Alpine Crossing attempt, about 7 hours into the journey, I guess I was low on sugar level as I finally felt better after sucking on a couple of candies continuously.
Fail #2
My booking for the best seats (in my opinion) for Justice League ended up in smoke because of screen transition failure between the message and the booking applications. Upon retrieving the one time password and switching back to the booking application, I got stuck in an infinite page screen. And when finally released, my seats of choice were no longer available. Damn.
Fail #3
Due to the unsatisfactory morning session, I went for an evening gym session and from afar, I was pretty surprised to see a treadmill available at this hour. Upon stepping into the gym, the joy was cut short, machine was not functioning. I recall seeing someone manage to restart the machine by fiddling with the plug, and that was what I did. No luck, magic fingers not working.
The thing is, about 10 minutes later, someone did the exact same procedure (plug fiddle, restart) and managed to boot the machine! I mean, what the heck! I can only conclude that the machine hated me.
Fail #4
If you're not aware, StarCraft and StarCraft II (just WOL, not the Zerg & Protoss expansions) are now officially free to play, downloadable by clicking on the links. You might be puzzled right now, wondering what could be the failure associated with such a great deal? My friend, you see, I lost my first ever match, and that's against an AI. That's bad, really, really bad.
But honestly, I should have done my homework in reviewing the troops/units available and its purpose before jumping straight into a multiplayer battle. But still...
